Youre more than likely getting elecrical "noise" or interference from a radio or cell tower. Get a quality surge protector, i have one made by Monster and it knocks out the interference.

I get a strange digital noise while recording speech. While no speaking there is no noise

Perhaps speaking too close to the microphone, and/or volume input (if settable) is too high.

My tv has no sound

increase the volume to max level .close yourself to TV speaker and listen.if could not hear anything, just turn it off and turn on if you could not hear at least pop sound from the speaker, you will have to replace new speaker.if you are able to hear Buzz noise or very low sound ,sound circuit has to be repaired.

When I'm playing on my amp there is a strange noice coming out of my amp. At first I thought it was my guitar, but it is really my amp... does anyone know how to solve?

"A strange noise" does NOT give us much to go on...

Please note that relatively low volume digitizing noise often exists from teh digital effects processors... it should be well below the normal playing volume.

On my Sony Surround Sound tuner, if I raise the volume up to a certain level (not that loud), I get a flashing sign ''protect'' and the sound to the speakers are cut.

Sony has protection in these receivers for two main reasons.

1 - Checking for DC voltages on the outputs to speakers. Not your particular problem.

2 - Excessive current being drawn from receiver on one or more of the speakers.

Number 2 should be your starting point in finding a solution. Put the volume level on Medium - 35 to 40 on the front panel. Now listen to all you speakers in turn. Any scratching noise will indicate a defective speaker. Remove this speaker from the receiver output and check again if the set goes into protection on high volume.

If you could not find any strange noises on the speakers, remove them one by one and test the set on high volume.

Never - attempt to disengage the protection on this amplifier. The only times we have found the amplifier to be defective with this protection error, it has done so no matter the volume level. Therefore I believe your problem to be a speaker or speakers.

Good luck!

Volume making humming noise when on

there is a bad ground.
the hum you are hearing is ac getting into the audio.check all the rca plugs on the set are plugged in all the way.do not run them close to a power bar either.
sometimes a second unit with it's own volume is hooked up to the tv and then the tv volume is up too high because the other box is turned down.if there is a unit hooked up,turn it's volume up ,and the volume on the tv down, otherwise the tv will amplify the residual noise.cheers,ed

I'm experencings a buzzing noise coming from the speaker when I turn on the tv....How can I get rid of this noise?

Give this a shot, it should fix the hum issue:

1. Turn tv on
2. Input mode should be tv
3. Turn volume to zero
4. With remote enter 9 8 7 6
5. A menu will appear on left side
6. Arrow down to backlight and with right arrow key move number from 81 to 83, press menu button twice,
7. Turn up volume and listen if hum is gone.

Let me know if this works.

High Pitched Noise

most high pitch noise comes from the anode conection on the picture tube thats connected to the flyback anode cap thats mean there is a high voltage leak,to stop the noise you can discharge the high voltage take off the cap and clean with alcohol.if the noise continue.you will have to put some red or clear silicone both the cap and tube stick together leave to dry for about 2 to 4 hrs.this will eliminate the leaking.good luck.
