Try going on line tom a place like Tiger Direct and type in the search box "Audio Recorders". At the bottom of the page are a whole bunch of simple solid state recorders that could work for you. Please ask permission from the instructor to use it in their class. Some people value their privacy.

If this is a belt drive turntable the belt might be in the wrong position or is slack due to wear.

Canon eos t5: movie recording has been stopped automatically appears after only 10 sec. of recording

This could be something to do with the size and class of your memory card. You usually need a class 10 card for the higher read and write speeds.

Easyshare C1550 will only record a few seconds of audio

Sounds like it does not have enough memory to record. Transfer the files off the memory card, or get a bigger card and the higher speed class (ten) is preferable, as some of the cheaper memory cards are too slow to handle live digital recording.

The camera says the sd card is too slow

If you are try to video capture and the SD card is a Class 4 speed then it is too slow for videos.
Use a Class 8 or Class 10 SD memory card and this will fix your problem.

When trying to record video, within about 15 or 20 seconds, a message saying, "Too Slow Card," comes on the screen and the video quits

This camera can use SD or SDHC cards up to a maximum of 8GB (gigabytes). These cards come in different "class" ratings. A class 4 card will provide faster access than a class 2 card. Video cameras like faster access cards and some specify that the card should be class4 or class 8. The card will have a number printed on it, maybe inside a capital letter "C" if it is faster than a class 1.

The manual for this camera does not specify a minimum class rating for the card.

I have a Nikon S3000 digital camera in blue and i recently bought a Sandisk 8 gb card for it and before i had a 4 gb card, as well a Sandisk. My 4 gb card worked fine and recorded videos but my 8 gb card...

Sandisc makes cards in various speeds or "classes". For videos, it's best to use a class 6 or better card. Sounds like your new 8GB card is a class 4 or lower.

Set a timed recording

Do you have your operation manual? It will tell you how to set up a timed recording. Recording options are set via the remote. Look for an option as "Scheduled recording" or similiar. Date, start & end time, channel, recording speed are all set. If you are missing your manual do a google search with your model number. A quick look at the Samsung website was not fruitful.
