It's out of time. Take it in for repair. (get it cleaned, lubed and have the belts checked while you are there)

Hi, actually I can help with your problem but maybe you can help me with mine. A friend gave me the same model...without the instructions. Would you be willing to give me a pdf scan or photocopy of the manual, please? Let me know at [email protected]. Thanks!

Why does my thread keep breaking?

Thread your machine with the pressure foot up. As you're threading be very aware of snags; especially the tension control(Don't thread the needle yet) Now, if this doesn't seem to be a problem put your pressure foot down. Pull on the thread with your hand. If it is real hard to pull you need to lower the tension. You may also take a QTIP with the tension at zero and the pressure foot up.Try to clean the tension control between the washers. Also, make sure your thread is good. Many poor quality threads will make a ball in the needle and tension control that becomes a problem like broken needles.

Please help! I have a Brother Innovis 4000 embroidery machine. My machine is skipping stitches then the needle falls out or bends/breaks. This happens even after I changed the needle and rethread the...

I would double check your Threading. Make sure the thread coming from the spool is not getting caught on something. Try keeping the presser foot up, and then pull out some thread from the back of the needle, does it seem tight to pull? Now lower the presser foot, is it more difficult to pull out? It should be but not so much that it is bending the needle.
If it is to tight, there could thread caught in the tension discs. Remove the left side panel above the needle on the machine. Check to see if you can see any threads. IF not, lower the thread tension and see if that helps. Good luck

White Superlock serger continually breaking needles

First take all the thread out of the machine. Put in new needles and run the machine slowly by hand and see if there is a problem with timing. If the needle hits and bends or breaks... take it in to be timed. If the needle don't hit....

Make sure you are properly threading this thing. Unlike a sewing machine which gives you some leeway, Sergers must be threaded in a certain order. Typically, upper looper, lower looper, right needle left needle. If you break a thread you can't just rethread that thread... you have to start from the beginning.

You might check singerco.com for the manual for this thing. They have most of white's manuals online they are identified by a W before the serger model number.

DESIGNER SE breaking needles

Sounds like the needle to hook gap needs to be adjusted, i.e. the needle is striking the hook when in the lower position. As the needle becomes dull, it probably bends slightly causing more contact and hence breaking. I would try another dealer if you think that might help., You can locate a dealer near you by visiting the husqvarna viking website and clicking on the Dealer link on the left-hand side of the page - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com
Good luck.
