I used the "Alt Control +" to get a webpage to go bigger. It went bigger OK but now I can't get it to reduce (Alt Control -). Any ideas???

Use Keyboard+Mouse commands instead : CTRL+Wheel up or down, where Up is bigger percentaje of view...

go to a auto parts store the bigger ones will scan it for free then let use know what code it has

You may find a blown fusible link or burnt wire/bad connection at the starter large terminal.I would start the car and check voltage output at the alternator output terminal first in case it's just a bad alternator.If you have 14+ volts at the alternator output terminal,you could also just run a 10 gauge wire from that terminal to battery positive directly and disconnect the alt feed to the starter terminal.

Open the Accessibility control panel and see if the sticky keys function is turned on, or if there is a hot key combination that turns it on. If you don't find anything pertinent in Accessibility, check the Keyboard and Mouse control panel for a similar function. (I must confess to having little experience with Win 7 to date, so some things may be in different places than I'm used to finding them.)

If you haven't already done so, check the optional updates on the Windows Update page at Microsoft.com for an updated driver/control panel package for your keyboard.

For IE (Internet Explorer), use :
tools > Internet Options > General (tab) > HomePage

and simply type in any URL that you'd like for your home page.

Not sure, if your browser is just not fullscreen, in that case press alt+ENTER .
If webpage is to small, then press left ctrl and scroll up with mouse wheel, it should make page bigger.

1. Log On
2. Click the Start button
3. Click on Control Panel
4. Click Regional and Language Options - a new window will pop up
5. Click the Languages tab
6. Click on the Details button
7. Click the Add button - a new window will pop up
8. Select United States-International (keyboard layout menu)
9. Click OK
10. Click Apply
11. Read the instructions for "Using the U.S. - International Keyboard" below.

Note: You will now have a keyboard icon on the taskbar (usually on the right side). To switch between keyboard layouts click the keyboard icon on the task bar and choose which layout you want to use. Changing the keyboard layout will only affect the log on profile used. No other users will be affected.

Using the U.S. - International Keyboard If you followed the above directions carefully, your keyboard will now react slightly differently than it did before. First of all, notice that if you strike the single apostrophe (') key, nothing happens. To type the single apostrophe now, you must strike the single apostrophe key and then strike the space bar. When you strike the spacebar, the apostrophe will appear.
The next thing to note is that the quotes (") key behaves the same way as the apostrophe key. You must first strike the quotes key and then strike the space bar in order to create the (") symbol. These two minor inconveniences are more than made up for by the ease with which you can now type the special characters.
To type the special characters, two keystrokes are required. To type the ?, you need only strike the apostrophe key and then the letter a. The other characters are just as easy:

• ? = ' + a
• ? = ' + e
• ? = ' + i
• ? = ' + o
• ? = ' + u
• ? = ~ + n
• ? = " + u

To type the special punctuation characters, you need to hold down on the Alt key while you strike the appropriate punctuation mark. On some keyboards, only one of the two Alt keys will work for this.

• ¡ = Alt (hold down) + !
• ¿ = Alt (hold down) + ?

Using Cryptic Codes If, for some reason, you don't want to change your keyboard, you can always type in the troublesome cryptic codes. Using this arcane system, the following codes apply:

• ? = Alt + 0225
• ? = Alt + 0233
• ? = Alt + 0237
• ? = Alt + 0243
• ? = Alt + 0250
• ? = Alt + 0241
• ? = Alt + 0252

• ¡ = Alt + 0161
• ¿ Alt + 0191

When using this utterly out-dated system, there are two important things to remember. First, when you type in the numbers, some keyboards require that you use the "numeric keypad" located to the side, rather than the numbers along the top. Second, on some keyboards, only one of the two Alt keys will work for this.

Easiest way to is to click on the desktop, hold CTRL and turn the mouse wheel. Fast and easy.

If part of the web page is not visible on the screen, you may have accidentally dragged it off to the side. Click the green button at the top-left corner of the web page to resize the window to fit on the screen.
If your screen resolution is set to 800 x 600 or less, most web pages won't fit on the screen. If possible, increase resolution to at least 1024 x 768 in System Preferences > Displays.
You may have accidentally hit Command (Apple key) and the plus sign (+) key -- this makes the text bigger. To reduce text size, hit Command and hyphen (-) key.
Finally, if Zoom is turned on in the Universal Access setting, you be looking at only part of the screen -- zoomed in like using a magnifying glass. Hold down Command (Apple key) and ALT key and hyphen (-) to see if this is on -- it will unzoom (zoom out) by one step. Turn this off or on in System Preferences > Universal Access.
