Hi,
Itunes downloaded songs can be AAC protected songs. These cannot be played on your IDJ2.
Luckilly Apple can offer a service(not free) for making your songs non protected.

Regards,
Jack,

How to sync my i pod classic in i tunes

Hello, friend. If you are running iTunes below version 11, I can help you. Open iTunes and plug in your iPod. On the left hand side there should be your iPod name, go to your iTunes playlist and drag the songs you want to your iPod. For all of the songs, go to your iPod music library, even if you don't have songs, and on the bottom there should be a blue-ish bar. There might be a box saying "Autofill from iTunes library" click that ONLY if you want ALL songs from your iTunes to your iPod.
Or You may try this ipod transfer, it's a nice iTunes alternative that can help you manage iPod files including delete, upload, play, copy, etc. It's much easier to use than iTunes.

I dont know how to load up any songs,or videos on my ipod a1136

If you want to install songs on your i pod, Get an i Tune media player it enables your system (laptop or computer) to be able to transfer any data from your system to your i pod.

First install your i Tune media player.

connect your cable to your i pod before connecting to your system.

Open your i Tunes player, and synchronize(like pairing your device with your system) it with your i pod so that you can be able to transfer any data from your system to your i pod.

I think that will do..

My 120 GB I pod classic Doesn't play the next song

Hi. Check that when you plug your iPod in that it isn't selected to "Shuffle," play which can happen if you are expecting to go through songs. There is also another reason and one I didnt know about until I took my iPod Classic back to my retailer thinking there was a problem;
If the songs on your iTunes or default device isn't an AAC file the iPod will fail to play it. On MAC systems simply click the file that you want to put onto your iPod, right click and scroll to "Get Info." If the file doesn't say it is an AAC file it won't play on your iPod. Scroll further down on the list to "Create AAC version." This takes milliseconds, doesn't affect the sound quality but condenses the data fit for the iPod Classic. Once that's done you can add any song you like.
Generally when you put a CD into a MAC it will automatically change the AIFF files into AAC which means you don't need to manually convert. AAC is usually needed when individual tracks are called up and put onto your iPod. I hope this helps you - it drove me nuts until I found out about the AAC.

My i-pod nano (2GB) will not hold more than 43 songs when I import from my cd's. My ipod is clear of all songs and so is my library. Are I not suppose to have at least a 500 song capacity?

I have an I-pod nano 4 gb. What I think is going on is you are loading full "wav" files. The 500 songs is predicated on low quality "mp3" songs. Normally, I-tunes will convert the "wav" file to an "mp3" file.

Check your music files on your computer and assure they are "mp3" files. If they are make sure your I-pod does not have other "stuff" on it. Use I-tunes to reset it an "like-new" condition (that removes all files)., then use I-tunes to re-install your music.

If you are downloading files from the I-tunes store make sure they are safe so you do not loose your investment in tunes.

Since they are from cd's make sure the ripped files are safe, then try a re-install.

Should work.

Cheers

I-pod

Your library needs to be rebuilt to version 8.0 before ITunes will work. Once the database is rebuilt, your songs will reappear in Itunes for use.

Give Itunes the library that your files are in using the folder options. Itunes will rebuild the library off of those settings.

Backup your purchased songs asap.

Grays songs in ipod when connected to Computer

You need to set your iPod to update manually, instead of syncing automatically when you plug it into the computer.

To do this, plug your iPod into your computer, and on the iPod info screen that pops up in iTunes when your iPod is connected, click "Manually Manage Files."
You'll now have to click and drag your songs from your library to your iPod, but now you can also play songs on your computer directly from your iPod and delete songs from your library without deleting them from your iPod at the same time.

Hope this helped!
