My numark 5000fx lights up when turned on but does not register my technics on any of the channels
If your Numark 5000FX mixer is not registering your Technics turntable on any of the channels, there are a few things you can try:
- Check your cables: Make sure that your RCA cables are plugged in correctly and securely. If you are using a phono preamp, make sure that it is powered on and connected properly.
- Check your switch settings: Make sure that the switches on the back of the mixer are set correctly for the type of input you are using (line or phono).
- Check your levels: Make sure that the input levels are turned up and that the fader for the channel you are using is not muted or turned all the way down.
- Check your ground wire: If you are using a turntable, make sure that the ground wire is connected properly to the mixer.
If none of these steps work, there may be an issue with either the turntable or the mixer. Try testing the turntable on a different mixer or testing a different turntable on the Numark mixer to determine which component is causing the issue. If the mixer is the issue, it may need to be repaired or replaced.
The plate on my numark tt USB is wobbiling
I find it hard to believe some of these answers. If the platter is wobbling, if you remove the platter, you'll find the spindle the platter rotates on. That will probably be loose. At the bottom of the spindle bearing, you will find a nut. Tighten that, and you should be in business. If you have further questions please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. Hi,
Make sure you install the software in the CD provided with the iDJ3. IF you already have, try to uninstall, restart and then reinstall. Sounds like the drivers for your device was not properly loaded to your PC which cause it not to recognize. If it still doesn't work after that, I suggest that you contact Numark tech support for further troubleshooting at this link:

Numark tt1625 turntable wavey sound
Your belt is probably worn and needs replacing. Lift felt on platter and and lift the platter section off the unit by putting your thumb and forefinger through the two large holes and pull upwards. There should not be any special routing for the belt and should go directly onto the spindle motor to your platter. Place the belt around the inside rim of the platter while it is still off the unit. Now replace the platter and move the platter around until you see the spindle motor through one of the holes. Use some tweezers to manouvre the belt onto the spindle motor. On some units you will have to lay the belt out inside the unit, replace the platter and manouvre the belt onto the platter. Hope this helps
