I am sure the pump strainer is plugged. How do I get the front cover off to gain access to the pump. There is a little access door at the bottom that covers a galvanized sheet metal plate with a small whole in front of the pump. How do I either remove the galvanized sheet metal piece, or remove the front cover? I have removed the screws holding the cover in place (with the door) and it is loose, but I cannot it get it free of the plastic control panel.

ND means no drain, the water level fails to drop below the low water level in final spin. check for 1 restricted drain system. 2 kinked/plugged drain hose or pump 3 faulty pump 4 loose connections on the board or pump if you find none of the above you have a faulty control board. hopefully you just find something clogging the pump, remove the pump completely and make sure it is not a paperclip or something like that down in the pump jamming it up so it doesn't drain, be careful and get lots of towels because there will be water in pump system. Here is the board to order in case you find that it is the problem.
check for water left in units tub,if so check pump inlet and outlet and drain pipe in the house for foreign objects, then if clear make sure pump drain is running if it is,but noisy it may be bad,as in the impeller on the motor shaft may be loose and the water may stall the pump
Yes and they do not make it very convenient to do so. There is no clean out access to this pump. You must remove the hoses to access the internal working of the pump. Make sure you have plenty of towels available it is messy. http://www.on-timeappliance.com/washingmachinerepair.html
Disconnect and remove the machine to give access.
Drain the machine by holding the outlet hose low over a bowl.
You can probably tip the machine backwards onto 2 crates of food or similar heavy object, so it is almost laying down.
The pump should now be visible, and a pipe-wrench used to remove the pipe clamp and slide it back over the rubber pipe.
Then remove the pipe.
Have an old towel handy to mop up water.
Clean out the pump pipe and pump. Maybe even removing the pump.
Connect again - and compress the pipe clamp again before sliding it back. Make sure it looks right and water-tight before standing it upright again and replacing & re-connecting.
Connect power last.
Try using fill hose screens to avoid coins in your water pump.
Make sure to install such filter at the tub to pump hose for easy access when you need to clean it.
It has a strainer. These strainers are evidently designed to make washers stink. Your strainer is located behind the kick panel, below the main panel. The strainer is located between the drum and the pump. It is connected to the drum with a rubber hose. Unplug your washer. Pull and clean the strainer, While the strainer is open, look up into the pump suction cavity and remove any loose debris that you see in there. Reassemble the strainer, replace the kick panel.
Clean the door seal face with a bleachy water solution, let it sit, and wipe it down again. You want to get the solution into the grooves behind the seal face, and wherever you think mold and mildew might be on/in/behind the bellows seal.
Put one cup of bleach directly into the washer tub.
Fill all of the dispenser cups with bleach.
Run the washer on your hottest setting (no clothes). I use the sanitary setting with an extended wash.
When the cycle is finished, run another cycle with nothing in the dispenser cups or tub, Just plain hot water, this will flush out the bleach residue. Most folks wipe their bellows seal face and grooves down with bleachy water regularly. (1X / wk).
Hope this helps. Best regards, --W/D--
If it was your house drain line plugged, water would regurgitate onto your laundry floor. This is the most likely solution to me, as it sounds like the washer is slowly clogging up, as everything else is OK. Unplug the washer. Remove the front kick panel and gain access to the water strainer, which is in line from the tub drain to the pump. Open the strainer (there will be water). Remove and clean. Inspect for debris. Reassemble and try. Please repost if this didn't fix you.

You have to remove the bottom kickplate to gain access to the drain pump and drain hose. You can remove the drain hose and blow through to see if the obstruction is in the hose. Take a look at the check valve for blockage. If a garbage disposal was just installed, make sure the knockout plug was removed.
pump is plugged unplug washer lean back against wall under unit right front 2, 5/16 screws lets pump free take hoses on both sides free check for coins after pump and objects before pump and in pump clear reinstall if clear replace pump just had 2
