Water leaking (Aquarius 1200)

Water is leaking from the powder drawer of my Aquaius 1200. Im not certain what is causing this. It occurs at the begining of a cycle and lasts for about 30 seconds. After this the cycle continues as normal and all the clothes are clean. A lot of water leaks from the drawer when i use a normal cycle. However i dont have the problem when i use a quick wash. Any help would be gratefully recieved. Thanks.

Don't think using quick wash should make a difference as water intake is the same take drawer out and wash thoroughly especially the rinse compartment. if gunged up the water overflows the compartment and leaks down the front. otherwise, you may have a blockage in the hose from the drawer to the tub. take top off, remove this hose and clean disconnect from mains when you do this

Water leak from front powder/conditioner drawer.

Completely remove the dispenser unit. look inside the recess you have just taken the dispenser drawer from and look up. You will find this is covered in muck. Clean it with an old toothbrush or something but do not use too mush pressure. This should solve your problem. If not then you will need to replace the dispenser unit completely

Can this machine heat its own water? It has a hot and cold water intake. also mashing machine is not taking the powder from the powder drawer. Can you help?

Yes, this washer does have a heating element.
Make sure there is a good water pressure at the inlet valve/s,
or the powder will not dispense.
Make sure there is no blockage or obstruction in the drawer, \also make sure you have the powader in the correct compartment.
Hope this helps.

Water leaking from detegent drawer big time at start of cycle then lessens further on in cycle.

Take out the dispenser drawer get a babys feeding bottle brush and make sure that the hose from the dispenser to the drum is clear

As there are a few comments on the site re the same machine with the same problem it could be a design fault however it could also be congealed soap powder

Powder drawer wont open

Grasp the drawer firmly, and pull out until it reaches its stop, then press the plastic lever down in the middle of the drawer at the rear, and pull the drawer out.

Remove dispenser drawer from m/c, and thoroughly clean it and all accessories.Clean all residual build up of undesolved powder and conditioner in drawer compartment..
If it still leaks, then remove top cover, locate large black hose at bottom of dispenser, and give it a good squeeze to clear any possible blockage in the hose itself..
If still no better, could be due to exceptionally high water preesure forcing the water out of the drawer.

Turn cold water valve down a little to reduce pressure.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Soap powder remains in the soap compartment

Depending on which compartment the powder is remaining in, it could be low water pressure causing the problem.
If it is taking some down, but not all the powder, then try putting the powder towards the front of the compartment.
If all else fails then I suggest you get one of these dispenser balls that you put straight in the drum with the washing.
Plz rate this solution.
thanks.

WD640 Aquarious supersilent washer/dryer leaking from powder draw

during the rinse the machine uses a higher level of water, therefore check the door seal for holes,if the water is leaking from the soap drawer in the spin then this suggests that you may have a blockage in the outlet hose or in the sump filter, to check the filter remove the sump hose, the filter is hidden in the hose.
