Printer and computer - no driver connect

Most HP drivers are available here: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers . Then search for your model. The direct link to the drivers for the Photosmart 8450 is http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-photosmart-8400-printer-series/402149/model/402151#Z7_3054ICK0K8UDA0AQC11TA930C7 . Select your OS version.

The Photosmart 8450 drivers should be found with the new hardware wizard in Windows 10. You'll need to connect the printer to the computer via a USB cable to start. (Make sure that the system is connected to the internet.)

HP has the drivers for supported OS versions for the Photosmart C5280 All-in-One on their site: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=3204464& . Select your OS in the drop down menu and then click Next. Expand the section marked Driver, then you will see the link to the Full Feature software. (You can order a CD if you like from the link marked Order Physical Media.)

Do you have the 64-bit or the 32-bit version of Windows 7? To find out, click Start > Control Panel > System and Security > System. If the version title ends with x64, then you have the 64-bit version and need the Win 7 (64 bit) software from HP. Otherwise, get the 32-bit version.

Please note: if you connected the printer to the computer already, you may have obtained the OS generic printer driver. Disconnect the data cable and remove this printer driver before installing the HP software. (This applies to USB connections.) The generic driver will only work for the printing features of the all-in-one.

You can download the driver that you need by going to HP's website at http://www.hp.com. Look for software and drivers and then enter the make and model of your printer. Download the driver and install it to your computer then connect the printer and it should work.
