Our unit does not heat the wash water, except apparently through the rinse water, and only after running it repeatedly (between 10 and 20 times) before it is sufficiently hot to wash dishes. A bit of troubleshooting shows that the heating element is not receiving any voltage. I do not have a schematic to follow, and would like to know what are the likely culprits. Thank you. The wash tank element should be operated through a 3 or pole contactor which gets its power only when the rinse tank has come up to temp and switched the thermostat over(rinse tank heating takes priority). Is the rinse tank element fully intact ie-is it pulling its full amperage or is part of the element blown causing it to take longer to heat? Is the rinse contactor dropping in when the thermostat for the rinse tank is turned fully down? It sounds like a thermostat or contactor problem- good luck and let me know how you get on. Kitcheneer
