Question moved from Cars and Trucks category. It may be that the water inlet valve that has failed, but it could also be that the main control board has failed. Due to the cost of boards, I would suggest you get professional diagnosis from a Smeg technician.

Check the options on the door of dishwasher. Some dishwashers allow you to select wash top rack or bottom or both. Check your settings.

Check your air gap at the sink for internal obstructions (take it aoart and clean it) Also check the dishwasher drain outlet into the garbage disposal (if you have one) They tend to clog up inside the garbage disposal. You may have to pull the hose off that connects to the garbage disposal to clean the hole out.

This is a possible problem with either the switch that prevents the washer over filling with water during a wash cycle or there is a leak in one of the pipes inside the machine. I would recommend you get an engineeer to look at it as you will need to get inside the machine to repair this.

Water could be leaking under the door as a result of sealing tape failure.

water level sensor bad

the E3 error is a result of water temperature not getting to a nominal value within a particular time. This could be caused by several factors like heater faulty, wash pump not working well, wash arms not circulating water as required. Need model number to help you further pin point if possible. Refer this site for 60 inch dishwasher and this site for 45 inch ones.

Sounds kinda funny but try unplugging they dishwasher for about 3 minutes where there's no power running to it. The plug should be underneath your sink. Then plug it back in and turn it on and see if it will cycle

I would say yes if tripping main fuse box

Sounds like a control board issue? Turn it off I mean at The breaker or unplug it wait about an hour for the board to clear if it doesnt replace board.
