When I pair the headset with my Blackberry it connects properly but through the headset I hear a tone popping up as if I receive a call continuously even when I talk to somebody via the headset. Very strange. I disconnected and re-connected it several times but everytime it pops up again. Also switched off both completely. Can you help please.

Turn the headset off. Then hold the main button (not the volume up or down button, but the button with the phone on it) for 7-8 seconds. When the light is a solid blue it is in pairing mode.

This happened to me too.. i googled a user manual for it.. if i recall it said, turn the headset power off, then once the phone is in pairing mode, hold the power button on the headset till the light stops blinking and becomes a solid blue light. then the headset is in pairing mode as well and your phone should find it

Hello, i cannot pair my jabra sp5050 to my htc desire hd phone. i have followed all the online instructions but cannot seem to "find" the jabra on my handset. thanks!

To get the Jabra SP5050 into pairing mode: Start with the unit turned off Press and hold the answer/end button Hold until the light starts blinking constantly, without pauses Release the button - this is pairing mode Your phone should be able to "find" it when it's in this mode.

I have a samsung phone and i am trying to pair it with my jabra vbt185z but i don't know the passkey...i tried using 0000 but that didn't work. so what else can i do to make it work?

You do need the passcode. It should "auto pair" but the default passkey or pin is 0000 (4 zeros.)

Here is a link to the user manual
http://www.jabra.com/sites/Jabra/GNimages/Products/WirelessHeadset/BT2010/Documents/UM/VBT185z_UM_6198.pdf

Headset Pairing Readiness Instructions:

1. Fully charge headset for two hours.

2. The headset will automatically go into pairing mode if no device has

been previously paired.

3. Set your mobile phone to 'discover Jabra VBT185Z'.
4. Enter passkey or PIN = 0000 (4 zeros), then press Yes or OK.

How do you connect it to a nokia 6300

To connect a jabra 250 to the Nokia 6300: On the Nokia go to menu > settings > connectivity > bleutooth = select and the next line = visible
On the headset when it is off > push the upper button for ± 8 seconds until the lamp is burning constant and release this button.
Choose on your Nokia on the same bleutooth menu > search audio.... It will be pairing in a few seconds . It will ask if it is ok to make the connection. The password is "0000" and push on "yes"
I hope you cann understand my english, I'am dutch.

Jabra appears to be working with turning on and off function. It shows a blue blinking light as if to be searching for a connection. The samsung phone does not recognize it. It sees the Apple computer...

Your speakerphone must be in pairing mode, prior to trying to pair it with your phone. If it has never been paired before, just by turning it on it would enter that mode. It is indicated by the icon rapidly flashing, and an audio announcent like 'pairing mode'. If your speakerphone has been paired before, you must force it to enter the pairing mode. To do it, after turning it on, press and hold the answer/end button for some 5 seconds, until that same announcement is heard, and the icon rapid flash is noticed. Anyway, after it is in pairing mode, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a while, your spearkerphone should appear on-screen. Select it and make the application connect to it. If a pairing code (or passkey, or PIN) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful, your speakerphone will enter stand-by mode, and you should also see some indication on your phone.
By the way, if your speakerphone's user manual happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.
Regards, Carlos

Upgraded my phone software cannot connect my jabra bt 250v ? code 0000 but did not work

Check that both devices are in pairing mode and the phone lets the headset connect without asking for authorization.

There might also be a security / firewall issue. You might want to check your phone settings...

Google g1 phone jabra bt125

Make sure the Jabra headset is set to pairing mode, otherwise the phone cannot find the headset. The manual should have instructions to set the headset in pairing mode. While the headset is in pairing mode, have the G1 search for the headset (Settings > Wireless Controls > Bluetooth Settings). When it finds the headset select it and type 0000 for the PIN code.

Jabra 250 Codes

To make this complete: You need to turn off the headset (hold call button several seconds until it makes descending tone). Then hold button to turn on and keep holding 8 seconds more until blue light is on solid. Then initiate pairing at phone, and enter 0000 as the code.
