yes. try plug to sd card reader & connect to pc. install software call undelete pro and run it and search your SD card. If you have faith, the files will still be there. dun lose hope.

What type and size memory card? The S800 uses MMC and SD cards. It will not work with SDHC cards even though they'll fit into the slot.

One of two I was say is the issue.

• When you improperly ejected the card you messed up the MFT (master file table) on the card. You will want to format the card.
• You could have hosed the drivers. In Device manager look under the driver details there should be some files listed. You will probably need to delete these and replace them. Since they may be system files you would need to replace them in a live boot environment such as a linux live boot cd (ubuntu.com) would be the easiest. Get the drivers it has listed copy them to a thumb drive. Boot the computer to the live CD, delete the driver files and replace with the new ones.

well i have the same issue, but i can install apps, this what i did and every time i did it worked...
after the factory reset (if u did already is not necessary do it again) open the apps that u have preload, like you tube, kobo, droid reader, after that go to sam market and if theres an updtae say yes, now u can install apps, but this solution is only temporal cuz the tablet install the apps in the reserve of the internal memory (aparentlly has 2, the 2gb or 4gb depends on the model, and other one 512mb) but u say that u find an app that can help u u just need it install it, so please share the name of the app...

I have seen this many times, most of the time it's because the index file was writing or cleaning itself when you removed it. This is what the "EJECT" is when you right click. As a matter of course, you should always 'eject' the media before removing it. (It doesn't physically pop the media out, it really should be called "Shut Down Media XXXXX" So in most cases, there's nothing you can do except send it off to a data recovery service and be prepared to shell out a bunch of money.

Try installing App 2 SD from Android Market. You should be able to move the installed apps to SD card using this application. Galaxy Mini comes with Froyo and hence you should be able to use this app and move possible apps to SD Card. Moving the app to SD card also depends on whether the developer has enabled the feature to move his app to SD card. App 2 SD will only be able to move the apps which have this feature enabled by developer to SD card.

I had success with this
1. Do not save any new file to memory card.
2. Connect your card to computer. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer.
3. Download photo recovery software, recommended one is 001 picture recovery (simply because i was using it and it worked)

Yes you need a new SD card, it is rare but happens where the SD card malfunctions and it is not read by the camera, it happened to me and I put in a new card and it worked find.
