Amp wont turn on

Ok well my system is hooked up and it is all right. but now all of a sudden my amp wont come on at all, i know it is getting power because i can take the power cable and hook it into the remote terminal on the amp and the power terminal on the amp and it will turn on. It will not turn on though with just the power cable in the power terminal on the amp...if anyone has any advice i would appreciate it thanks...

Sounds like a fuse issue in the power from the amp - the remote circuit could be and probably is completely independent. haven't been able to find confirmation on this, but if you are confident to take the cover off then check (probably)around the area where the power terminals are there may be some fuses. Hope this helps, ask again if not :)

Amp wont get out of protection

Most likely you'll need to do a hardware reset for the chip to reboot its internal memory. You most likely got a spike in current through the 'brain' of the circuit and locked up the interface. You A) could search the enclosure for a small soft touch button, or B)open up the contents (risk this may void warrantee) and find it on the internal circuit board, or C)check the manual for suggested method. But more realistically, you need to check your system to determine what caused the initial case.

Ok everything is working but the remote wire not

First make sure you have the right wire hooked up, there is a Power Antenna wire, and remote turn on wire, and both are blue, but one has a white stripe.. Just make sure the right one is hooked up.

Now if the right wire is hooked up, and still no voltage there are 2 ways to get turn on power to the amp.

Option 1.
Buy a LVT (low voltage trip), they come with instructions, and arent very hard to use. They will only turn on the amp when signal is sensed through the speaker leads.

Option 2. (I don't care for this one)
Find an accessory fuse in the fuse box (meaning only has voltage when the key is in the on position), and run a wire from there directly to the amp.
WARNING ABOUT OPTION 2. This can be noisy, and cause a whine in your speakers, this should be a last option.

My fiance purchased a pair of P1 RF speakers and their matching amplifier. when he hooked them up in our car everything worked well. we unhooked everything and then ran all the wires and re-hooked...

well let me see i can bet something happened so what happened??? i bet the amp is not working right? hahaha here's my sign right!!! all right enough fun. is the light on the amp coming on? you might also need to turn the key all the way to the run position, if not wired exactly right then amp will only power up when vehicle is running or key is in the run position i need to know this before we really go any further. let me know so i can get you up and running quickly.

My kenwood amp wont turn on

What kind of "Clips" did you put on? They may be causing too much resistance and preventing the amp from getting the current it needs. Double-check with a voltmeter that you are getting at least 12 volts at the amp power connections and make sure your ground lead is as short as possible and connected to solid metal of the vehicle's chassis.

Audiobahn A2502DP amp is alive but wont talk to me

Your "bumpin" may have killed the amps "bumpin" Was the amp secure when you were sliding? So wires are ok, and lights and finas running. You have power but no output..Check the settings on the amp, also the fuse. Something might be earthing itself to the amp as well.
