  • Reset component settings. Usually, the problems you encounter with a projection TV may be resolved through the resetting to its factory settings. If you experience inaccuracies in the color, reset the television's PerfectTint/PerfectColor capabilities. Simply press the Menu tab and then highlight "Perfect Color" using your right key arrow. After this, press "Enter" and then "Reset" in order to reset to factory settings. If you have audio / video problems (VCR or DVD player), simply press "Menu" and highlight the "Reset" option.
Reset television controls. In case you cannot fix your TV via its component settings, there are other ways of resetting. Just select "Menu", key in "1, 2, 3", and then press "Enter." In doing this, the TV's manufacturer's specifications will all be restored. If your TV's power system does not function, you should perform a complete system reset. You can do this by clicking on Reset System button located at the TV's control panel. Your television will be turned off and then a green light (LED) will quickly flash for approximately one minute. Once the light has stopped flashing, your TV should immediately turn on.

How can I adjust the screen so I can see the score of the football game it is cut off on my Panasonic TH-50PX75U

Hello
To do this you have to enter into the service mode, ie, factory setting modes, which oly will allow you to do the screen adjustments. Your TV needs vertical S-Correction, to avoid lower side stretch. Four methods to enter into the service mode are given here . Just try OK.

In Sound-Menu Low-tone-regel to MAX and

High-tone-regel to MIN. Press 'F' button on TV.

Then press VOL- on TV and REVEAL on RC in

some time. Select: red and green buttons.

Adjust: yellow and blue buttons. Store:
'STR'. Exit: 'N' on RC.

In Sound-Menu Low-tone-regel to MAX and

High-tone-regel to MIN. Press VOL- on TV

and RESET on RC in some time. Select: red

and green buttons. Adjust: yellow and blue
buttons. Store: 'STORE'. Exit: switch off.

ON: Press simultaneously 'OFF TIMER' on RC

and 'CH.UP' local.

OFF: Press simultaneously 'OFF TIMER' on RC
and 'VOL-' local.

Simultaneously press 'RECALL' on RC and
'VOL-' local. Exit: 'NORMAL' on RC.

After entering into this mode, be careful not to spoil the set. Mark all the initial values on a paper for refernce, and begin to chage the values. You may only have to chage the value of "SC".

I have a Sony kv-27fs100. It has a greenish tint/patch along the left side and a bluish patch along the right side. Any ideas?

Sony TVs has an Optical Block issue. If there is an issue with the optical block, then there will be green, blue patches or tint on the TV display. Try resetting the TV to the factory settings and try Power resetting the TV. Turn Off the TV and remove the power plug from the wall outlet for 1 minute and reconnect it and check the operation. If the issue still persists, then TV may require service. You can contact the Customer relations team and check for the available options. Sony had repaired free of cost for such issues. Hence, contact the customer relations.

I replaced the lamp on my Sony KF-60XBR800. Now the picture is greenish and yellowish. I was told I might have touched/moved the purity ring/s. Where are they located?

My Sony KDF-E60A20 Grand Wega television has a color problem I am unable to resolve with the Sony remote. I have gone through the Wega Gate to settings...picture with no results. Running the hue and color...

Do a factory reset to this set, and then check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

Greenish picture using DTV input

If the set is normal on AV inputs or thru the coax input--but has problem in the DTV(HD) I would suspect whatever is giving it signal(it is component input) is the problem--the component input for DTV could cause this problem--red,green, blue carry not only video but chroma information---if you are using a direct TV box of some kind return it and get another---only other possible cause(Long shot) would be to do a factory reset on thisTV--All
Mitsubishi sets have an option menu which resets the whole set back to condition it was when new in the box--If you want to try this verify model number to me and I will tell you how to do it--Remember: the set is not smart enough to know which input you are using--if you have a problem only on 1 input--it usually is not the set--it usually is what is connected to that input.

Mitsubishi CS-40707 Greenish/Yellowish Display

Yeah, I had mine checked for the same thing. The "blue" - There's only three - red yellow blue- portion of your tube died. Not repairable. Last I checked it costs at least $1,000 for a new 40 inch tube. Good luck. Mine went to the garbage dump!
