Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main digital board.//

SOURCE: Polaroid LCD TV FLM-3232 turns on, then turns off

It sounds like you have tried everything I have been able to find on the web......Have you Registered your TV with Polaroid yet? Because if you haven?t you can make up the few months your past on the warrantee.....I would go and Register and then call on the warrantee.....it?s a bit fishy but it works...In my opinion they should just warrantee it for you. (being so close to the end an all) ....I have had great success when I have call the manufactory directly to see what they can do for me......don?t talk to just any one ask for the manager of customer service or the manager in the warrantee department...in the very begging of your call.... here is there information if you didn?t have it already Regional Headquarters: Polaroid Corporation Corporate Headquarters 300 Baker Avenue Concord, MA 01742-2131 Phone: +1 781-386-2000 Good Luck and be assertive but not an *** on the phone.......I find that when I?m just strait up honest with them it all works out....If it doesn?t try the Registration thing?Let me know if this helped cbinny1

SOURCE: when I push the power button, the blue light comes on but tv doesn't

It is the capacitor. It is really easy to fix, and it will cost you about $4. The capacitor is on the power board and it looks like a small battery. The bad capacitor will have a small bulge on the top, the good ones will be flat on top. You can buy them at Radio Shack. Just look on the side of the capacitor to see which one you will need. If you need any further info I would by glad to help. I have a 40in polaroid that this happened to and it works like a dream now.

SOURCE: Blue LED light comes on but nothing else happens when turned on

It can be the main board or the power supply, look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

Lg 42" tv not displaying screen image

The t-con board controls the picture. To test it shine a flash light on the screen abd see if you can see an image when the TV is on. If you do then the T-con board is OK. Look at the back light ballast board (sometimes is part of the power supply board) If you see no movement or a dim picture with the flash light, then the T-con board is gone. Sony bravia kdl55hx729 3d led tv turns on 3 seconds shows picture than four red flashes

Hello,
the error light sequence that you are seeing is indicating a "backlight error". Most likely you have a bad inverter board -the board that powers up the back-lights behind the display panel. They might be available via ebay if you are a DIYer, or you need to call for sony service.
Good Luck!

No picture or sound

Remove the rear panel. With the TV on you should see a red LED near the center of the PCB. There should also be 5 green leds, 3 to the left a 2 behind. If there is no red leds, check the fuses. If there are no green leds or maybe 1 or 2, disconect PSD5. It's a connector on the left side of the power board that connects to the audio board. It's the 3rd on fro the back. It's labled. With that disconected, turn on the set and look for the green leds. If all 5 light, the power supply is OK and you have a problem beyond that. If they don't all light you have a bad power supply.
