Generally speaking, you should be able to go into the settings of the phone, go to the area of where the wallpapers and lock screen settings are, and then choose what you want. You can also go to your gallery and find the photo you want to use, then simply select it, and under its options it should allow you to choose to use as wallpaper.
Sounds like an app changed your wallpaper settings. Try this: go to settings then click display, you will see what wallpaper you have on th list right. Touch wallpaper and choose whatever you want then click set. This may bring everything into focus with the background you need for the correct page. It seems sometimes the LePan changes color but it is actually the wallpaper somehow taking over. Let me know if changing wallpapers works to "right" the situation. I hope this helps
that's probably that your wallpaper isn't fit with your monitor resolution,for example,if your wallpaper size is 1280x1024 but your screen resolution (size) is 1024x768,it doesn't fit your screen and the wallpaper will only show half or even less to check your current resolution,click Start->Control Panel->click Appearance and Personalization->Click "adjust screen resolution" on the Display categories you can see your current resolution and also you can set your resolution To check the picture resolution,right click on the picture,select properties,click the Summary tab,and it doesn't show the resolution, click Advanced on the Summary tab But I suggest you to download the wallpaper with a fit size instead of changing the screen resolution,because too high resolution will make your screen goes black geez,i'm so sorry for my poor english please rate this solution if it's work and let me know if you still has a problem.and thanks for using Fixya!
Windows 7 Starter does not allow you to change your wallpaper. You must keep the generic wallpaper.
However, there is a 3rd party application that you can download. It will run on startup and act as your wallpaper. It's a very easy to use interface that let's you choose your background picture, and even lets you have a "slide show" background of sorts.

How are you changing the Desktop wallpaper? Have you tried opening up an image over the internet and RIGHT click on that image? This will give you a dropdown menu with the "Set as Desktop Background" as an option.

Reinstall again your Automatic Wallpaper change. This might be the problem is your wallpaper changer, check the setting if it is TILE, CENTER or STRETCH, only this 3 options are available on wallpaper, aside from resolution if only for viewing purposes.
make sure image is in images folder,go to settings-display settings-wallpaper,should go straight to image file,then pick your picture ,click on picture should bring up full screen with set at bottom click set and your done!!!!
hey yes you can diable the shake feature on both the wallpaper and the music player
1. go to settings
2. hit phone setup
3.on the next menu go allll the way down to the bottom and you will see Gsensor swich wallpaper
and gesensor switch song. trust me its there u just gotta keep scrolling.
4. click off on them both and you have it.
