Washing machine keeps stopping mid cycle

The washing machine (5 years old) has started showing the error code DE or could be OE (hard to tell). I have drained the machine, emptied the filter (there were coins in it) and all seemed well but the machine got halfway through a programme again and refused to move

If you found coins and such in the drain filter then there is a possiblility that the impeller in the drain pump motor was damaged and you are not getting good water flow thru it. The machine will error out and stop mid cycle if it detects it has not drained in a set amount of time. OE indicated a drain error. I suspect you need to have the drain pump motor assembly replaced.

My washing machine stops mid wash and on d LCD display it has the letters OE sometimes the machine doesn't spin an if t does the cycle it doesn't let the fabric conditioner go n the was

An OE error presents if the washing machine has not successfully drained the water in ten minutes. However, the OE error code does not always mean that the washer requires a service call. If periodic maintenance has not been performed on the washer, there are a few simple steps to take before calling for service. Clear the filter located on the bottom left on the face of the machine. You will find a access panel located there that you need to open. richroth_61.gif Happy Holidays The FixYa Team

I have an lg front loader washing machine...it keeps stopping mid cycle and gives a troubleshoot code of oe...i cant find my owners manual and the lg site is awful....can you help me?

OE is drain error..Most likely problem is partially blocked pump filter...This is accessed via the small door at floor level...Unscrew the pump cover and clear the filter..Any water in the machine will flow from the pump cover...Empty the machine first...Leaning it back can help....Good luck....Nomess

Stops mid-cycle, does not drain, displays nd error code?

Hello.
That code is telling you that the unit is draining to slow. After 15 minutes it is not below the low water level and will not spin out. The best repair for this is to replaced the pump on your unit.
