Most likely the heating element,,,but there are also about 30 other items that could cause the unit to run and not heat. The first is the line voltage coming into the unit. Other items could be the thermal limiter, a burnt wire, A shorted thermostat,a burnt contact in the timer. Temperature selector switch, operating thermostat, hi-limit thermostat...a sensor, electronci control... and the list goes on.
Do you have a voltage meter and know how to use IT? Waiting to hear from you,Eric and Ann Campion

I have a reostat type hot/cold control on my 02 bonneville, and it will not blow hot, always cold. please advise . . . . .

this sounds like the hot cold blend door is not working and is always stuck on hot, this is located on the heaterbox, you will need to locate by watching as you move all controls until you find the one that doesnt move, then remove it and turn door by hand and try to see if hot air comes out, you will need to make sure when the blower is turned on the door doesnt swing back you may need to hold as you test and then is you get hot air replace that one. hope this is helpful.

My guage runs half way whike riding and climbs up to 3/4 some times is this usual the other day it went up to the light comming on.

it should sit around half, may get to 3\4 on a hot day riding hard, but should not get to light on stage.
Check the fan comes on when it gets hot
Check cap or renew
Check thermostat or renew
Change coolant\flush radiator
Check for leaks
pressure test coolant system

it may even be a problem with the sender for the temp gauge, if it doesnt seem hot and the fan doesnt start

Washing machine doesnt heat the water

Most washing machines do not heat water, they merely let the hot water into the wash tub that comes from your house hot water heater.... when selecting warm, hot and cold water will be mixed together to get warm or when selecting cold.. only the cold water is allowed into the wash tub.. Please provide brand and model number of machine so I can tailor a reply toward your specific washer...
