I just changed my black ink cartridge and now I cannot get the printer to print. I have rechecked the cartridge to make sure it is well seated and checked for any paper jams. When I hit print it goes to the que but does not print. What do I do now??
I just cleared a paper jam, and now, though the printer makes all the right printing noises and motions, and the print utility looks normal, the printer just spits out blank paper. The jammed paper came out in pieces, and I had to get it out both from the back and the front, but I think I got it all. How can I check to be sure that all the paper pieces are out?

Try updating the firmware of your printer. Just go to http://bit.ly/ghfW8H to download the firmware update. Also, make sure that you're using genuine Lexmark cartridges. If not, replace the cartridge.
Calibrate your new blank ink cartridge, have some nozzle check, cleaning check, and printer alignment. This are procedure that new ink cartridge will have to calibrate before you use. Epson printer are very sensitive when capable of changing ink cartridge. Unlink HP directly work without any print test because the cartridge head and ink join together, Epson with ink cartridge and the head separate. Have some test on it at Printer Maintenance. I'm sure 100% works on it. Good luck!
microsoft logo is in colour and so its printing while everything else on test page is black so its not printing.
the problem is common.you need to do automatic deep cleaning for the ink flow to start once you install new cartridges.go to printer maintanance option and click the option deep cleaning .it will pull out the ink in printer head and it will start working.sometimes also requires cleaning twice.
thanks and do not forget to accept the solution.
Make sure the tape covering the hole on the bottom of the black cartridge is removed. and then go into the printers folder and right click on your printer icon and go into the properties of that printer and there should be something in there to tell it that you changed cartridges and you can also print a test page as well.
Your printer creates it's black by using ALL the colours together. This effectively gives a very dark purple rather than black.
It sounds like you have a colour cart that is drying up or may be struggling to get enough air into the cartridge. Make sure you have removed any tape over the vent holes if you are using compatible inks. If not then try running a couple cleaning cycles via the button panel/driver.
If you alter the settings in the driver by going into START - PRINTERS AND FAXES and then right click on your 2610 and select PROPERTIES - the changes you make in here will be set as the default settings for each print job.
will not print only blank paper comes out
