The machine runs. it fills and it washes but, It continues past the rinse and dry cycles. So when the dial reaches the end there is hot water standing in the base. I have removed the drain tube and it is clear. And once in a great while when I turn the dial to the rinse and hold cycle it will start the drain process but that does not happen in the normal cycle.
I would bet that it is the timer switch assy.
Motor runs ? yes
washes? yes
drain tube clear ? yes
If there is no drain valve to deal with, the problem must be the contacts during the timer cycle, since the main obviously works or you wouldn't be able to wash anything.
you need a new timer switch assy.
You may find the problem in your garbage disposer and / or the passage opening to the dishwasher.

Timer correctly tries to start the drain cycle and/or wash cycle but pump will not run even though correcr voltage appears to be present on motor connector inputs. One motor connector input "MAIN" appears to be open circuit, suggesting motor needs replacing. Has anyone done this? Does it require any special tools? Anyone know the charge for having it replaced professionally?
