I have an Hp laptop with a pioneer dvdrw dvr k17b not burning.
dies your burned this work on your PC? if it works on your pc you just have to select the correct settings for your burning software, when you burn does it ask you to burn multiple sessions? if it does and you selected the option create multiple session then what will happen is the disc's you burnt will only work on your windows and not on any other computer or devices that use dvd's or cd's, on the options it will also have a choice for you to choose single session only wherein this will allow you to use the burnt disc in any other computer and will most likely work 100% of the time ^_^ NOTE: this step I gave all depends on the software you use to burn your disc and you may be required to play around your software for some softwares do not have the same info in them but at time be the same in thier function and purpose ^_^ I just based this answer to your question using my NERO
i bought a HP pavillion DV6775 us. it has pioneer DVR K17b ata device..the problem is that it cannot read the DVD's which .work fine on other DVD rom's. and also i cannot find any firmware upgrade for this device......HELP WANTED...
i also can't find firmware update my DVDR/RW k17B and i suddenly now i can't even burn anything.... i have no problem reading disks but will not burn, fails to format,..... basically it is now just a ROM instead of a burner... any help please
