I have a new Frigidaire FDB1050RE diswasher. I ran it for the first time set on normal wash and pressing both the Hi-temp wash and heat dry button. This cycle is supposed to take a total of 89 minutes to complete including the drying cycle. After 89 minutes it was still in the wash cycle so I cancelled it to preserve sanity. In the instruction manual it states that the water temperature must be above 120°F. Our building's water heating unit is set at 110°F. Why there is a lower temperature limit setting is beyond me. My question is if my landlord refuses to raise the heater temperature will this dishwasher operate properly or not?

It should still work pretty well but you probably can't use the high temp wash because it will take too long for the dishwasher to heat up the water enough to satisfy the high temp washer thermostat. If the thermostat's calibrated closing temperature isn't reached the dishwasher will just keep running. One thing you should do to improve washing results is to run the nearest tap (probably the kitchen sink) until the water is at it's hottest and then run the dishwasher so the first fill will be hot rather than warm.

How to reset Kenmore Elite 665-16572202 Dishwasher...clean light blinks 7 times pauses then repeats. My model does not have a Heated Dry button it has an Air Dry button.

Here's the key sequence(s) to use, depending on how your keys are labeled:
Heated Dry - Normal - Heated Dry - Normal; or
High Temp - Air Dry - High Temp - Air Dry; or
Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry, Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry; or
High Temp Wash, Heated Dry, High Temp Wash, Heated Dry.

This will start the diagnostic cycle. Let the dishwasher run for a few minutes, and then press Cancel to stop the dioagnostic cycle and clear the error. Please note, that this clears the error, but if you haven't found the cause (water-not-heating error), the condition will come right back the next time you run the dishwasher.

Run a service test for kitchenaid dishwasher

Did you check behind the toe-kick panel for the tech data sheet? Assuming that you have checked and that it is missing, there here is the "secret keystrokes" that will make most Whirlpool/ KitchenAid/Kenmore/Maytag diswashers enter the diagnostic cycle:
Heated Dry - Normal - Heated Dry - Normal; or
High Temp - Air Dry - High Temp - Air Dry; or
Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry, Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry; or
High Temp Wash, Heated Dry, High Temp Wash, Heated Dry.

Note: On some of the newer Whirlpool, Kenmore, KitchenAid dishwashers, you start the diagnostic cycle by rapidly pressing the 3 left-most keys in the following sequence: 1 2 3, 1 2 3, 1 2 3.

I have a Whirlpool Gold Quiet Series Plus, Model GU940SCGT3, not working. It ran a cycle, cleaned the dishes, but the water didn't drain and the "CLEAN" light is stuck on. It is now...

Hi

If clean light is blinking then it may be an issue with heater circuit, door switch or wash pump, please reset the power to the dishwasher. After, 5 minutes check if you are still getting the same error. If yes, then it is a water heating fault. To resolve this error try pressing this reset sequence-- Heat Dry - Normal - Heat Dry - Normal or High Temp - Air Dry - High Temp - Air Dry or Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry, Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry or High Temp Wash-Heated Dry-High Temp Wash-Heated Dry. Now let the unit run for 2-3 minutes and then you press the Cancel/Drain button and allow it to completely drain and reset. If this doesn't work then it's an issue with the wash pump not pumping the water past the heater efficiently or due to lack of water to heat. Please make sure that heater is not open circuited and is heating the water efficiently. You'll have to check the heater using a multimeter; the meter should read between 3000 to 3300 ohms (Use multimeter on Rx1 ohm setting). If heater is fine then make sure water pressure is optimum and fill valve is working fine. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

Clean light flashes

I have found 2 possible solutions for you to try on your washer. It looks like there are good results on each of the sequences listed so you may try both to see what one works for you.

1) Press normal wash and heated dry one after the other about 5 times. All lights on panel will light.Wait until all lights go out and it resets itself. It will go into a mode on it's own. Then press cancel and set your options as you normally would and press start

On the hidden button models this seems to work, push these buttons in this order:
Heated Dry, Hi Temp Wash, Heated Dry, Hi Temp Wash, close the door, Start, open the door, Cancel 2x

Push these buttons in this order High temp wash > Heated dry>High temp wash >Heated dry all the lights will come on and this will reset the board and run it through a short test cycle but more than likely it will come up again,It's a failure in the heating cycle either the heater itself or the turbidity sensor which sits mounted up into the tub right behind the drain pump...hope this helps
