Hello
The sled motor of your player is not working. This is the motor that spins the disc inside as soon as it has been loaded. But to spin disc, the disc must be loaded properly into the loading mechanism. Just check the loading belt that attached with loading motor and loading gear set for any loose, which may cause improper disc loading. Replace it first. If it does not help you, check the voltage at the seled motor terminals. There must be a voltage [4.5VDC approx:]. If the voltage is there and still the sled motor does nor work, replace it. If voltage is not there, the fault is with the loading IC which is soldered to the main board of the device. OK>

CD player plays some CD but some of the others it spins them and tosses them off the cone

The center cone on the hub could be a problem if the player was not for the right juke. Each brand has their own style. (If you still have the old player, check and make sure the the hubs are the same.) The center cone on the hubs are glued in place so if they are different you might be able to pop the old one off and replace it to the new player. One other problem could also be the magnetic pressure disk that is supposed to hold the disk on the hub. Is it centered in the hold down arm or does it rub the sides? Does the disk wobble as it spins? The magnetic disk is supposed to hold it down on the hub to prevent it from wobbling and coming off the turntable.

CD player appears to be dead but CD won't stop spinning

When a CD player goes south, it is almost always a given that the easiest and cheapest solution is a newer, higher-quality model. Just replace it. . .

Cd player won't spin disc

HelloCheck the sled motor. it is the motor that spins the disc inside, as soon as it has been loaded. Check the voltage comes to the leads of the motor first. If the voltage is there, and the motor does not spins, repalce the motor. It is a stepper motor, can be bought from most of the electronic spare part shops at your town. it is not a very colstly component. OK.

Half an hour ago the player was still working fine. Now it's impossible to eject cd's and the player itself gets confused cause the cue goes on and off by itself and playback skips. HELP

The CD drive in your CDJ is hunting for the disc, i.e it has become difficult for the player to read the disc. Keep your ears next to the loading slot after inserting a CD, you will hear a motor spin up then slow down then spin up again and if this continues the system will lock out the eject function. Or else the disc will come flying out!!. Either you need lens cleaning ( try a cleaning kit ) or replacement ( If the player has crossed over 500 hours of use )

CD player JWIM JX-CD589 spins a disk, no display, faint sound

Unless this is an expensive machine replace it. There will most definately be an internal problem. It will most likely cost you most just to have the machine taken apart and inspected then it would cost to replace. Sorry...
