I have a HP pavillion Dv2500 notebook and on any power plan randomly hibernates out of the, even when im working or surfing the net. Ive look at the power plans and i cant seee anything wrong with them.
hope you can help me
Go to the control panel and open power option change your setting there
I believe it is a heat issue. When my laptop (HP Pavilion tx 2000) gets really hot, the fans get more louder and eventually randomly goes on standby.
It also doesn't help if you use batteries, as well and use a hot and cool surface. Also make sure your fans are not clogged, look under the laptop.
Hey I have the same problem. I believe it has to do with your CPU usage. If it is constantly hitting 100% it tends to hibernate or even switch off at worst times. I do not know what will solve this issue but I guess it may be an overheating issue, where the laptop switches off or hibernate when it gets too hot...
I too have the same problem.while playing games in my lap(hp 430) it hibernates ramdomly .i think it's because of our RAM it gets full while we play games or when we run many applications simultaneosly. coz of that it hibernates automatically
