Model C2155. Why is there no control?

SORRY BUT THIS IS NOT NORDIC TRACK TECH SUPPORT

I have a Nordic Track C2155 that doesn't power up on the display after inserting key. The red LED on the power supply board does light up

The circuit board is fried. It's too expensive to have fixed if the warranty is expired. You can try and find a used display from ebay or craigslist. It would be an easy swap.

Treadmill displaying temperature over for an mbh fitness.what are the possible causes?

The cause of this problem is because your powerboad need big power (Amp) to turn the motor (and the belt) This usually happens if your treadmill belt is not lubricate well or needs change. So, first try to lubricate your treadmill belt with silicone oil and be sure that treadmill deck is clean. If the problem continues you must change your treadmill belt.

Nordic. Track incline won't work or calibrate

I have a NordicTrack C2155. Incline not working. There is a schematic inside. There are red, white, & black wires from the circuit board to the incline motor. Unplug the treadmill and have a licensed electrician construct a flying lead cord with a male spade on neutral and female spade plug on hot. Connect neutral to white and hot to where either red or black were connected. Plug in to see if the motor runs. Careful to remove power when the incline reaches its limit and reverse direction. If the motor runs in both directions, the motor is good. Follow the black two conductor wire to the circuit board and unplug from board. Check continuity across this switch. Run motor and this should toggle off and on. If all this checks out then the problem must be with the circuit board. On my treadmill, the schematic says that +5v should supply the sensor, but I only get +3.3v, which is TTL level. The drive motor sensor supply is +5v. The incline motor doesn't even show a sign of trying to run. Either the output transistor is burnt out or the low voltage caused an error so that it does not try to run the motor. Either way, I'm quite certain that a new controller board will remedy the problem.

I have a C2155. In the middle of a run, the treadmill stopped working, but the display remained lit. After looking through the manual I found out it must have gone into demo mode (it's never done...

Ensure that the treadmill is plugged into a grounded outlet using the correct surge suppressor. Use a UL 1449 suppressor listed as a transient voltage surge suppressor (TVSS). It must be rated for 15 amps and 120 volts AC. Secure the services of an electrician if the outlet is not grounded, or move the Proform treadmill near a grounded outlet.
Do not use an extension cord.

Insert the safety key fully into the display. Treadmills with keys are designed not to turn on without the safety key in place.

    • 3

Find the circuit breaker on the front of the frame and make sure it is not tripped. The circuit breaker is a vertical switch on the 540S and a horizontal switch on the 540 Interactive Trainer. Press it to the "Reset" position, which will be labeled.
2. Reed Switch

o 1

Unplug the treadmill and remove the safety key.

o 2

Move the upright base of the treadmill down with the help of another person and lift the uprights so that you can get to the underside of the console. Use a Phillips screwdriver with at least a 5-inch shaft to remove the screws. There are five hood screws on the 540 Interactive trainer and four screws on the 540S.

o 3

Remove the motor hood to get to the small reed switch by pivoting the hood off the frame. Find the reed switch and magnet, which are on the left side of the pulley for both models.

o 4

Turn the pulley with your hand until the reed switch aligns with the magnet. There should be 1/8-inch gap between the two. Fix the distance so that it is 1/8 inch by loosening the reed switch screw and sliding it to the correct distance. Tighten the screw.

o 5

Reverse the directions to put the hood back on and the treadmill upright in the original position.

I have a nordic track c2155. it powers up, but every button i push makes it beep. i have made sure the reed switch is 1/8th away from the pulley and that the unit has power

All, just figured something out. I had the evil beeping problem as well. I decided to play around and see if I could fix it. I unplugged the iFit adapter from the main control board and when I plugged it back in and tested it, IT WORKS AGAIN! NO MORE BEEPING!
