im not an expert on laptops im into desktop mainly but some issue can be applied on both... did u try to use your recovery cd or dvd that came with it maybe its your windows that is damaged... or if u have a copy of windows try to install it freshly and see what happens from there... also if the recovery cd is an image of the Factory u will lose everything on the partition C: from what i know.
this is n othing but your boot password...........try any of your password you would have mistakenly type or only one alternative is left if oyur lapyop motherboard is having a flat battery if this is removed and placed again the boot password will be diable........hope this will halp you...............sameeraryan
