If you're using Windows, it could be that your Print Spooler is not running properly. Please follow the steps below to fix the problem:

1. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET STOP SPOOLER (this will stop the print spooler service)

2. type in NET START SPOOLER (this will restart the print spooler service).

Try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.

How to remove the Print Drivers from Windows 7 machine

aulty print drivers can give you a lot of headaches. In my case, print spooler was constantly crashing, or it was crashing when I tried to open Print Properties of the Print Device.
Since the problem is mostly in a faulty print driver here are the steps on how to remove the print driver from Windows 7. Procedure is slightly different from previous Operating Systems as now we'll have to use the Print Management tool.
Click Start (Win Orb)
Type: 'Print Management'
In the left pane navigate to: Print Servers ' PC Name (local) ' Drivers
Delete the faulty print driver, or if you're not sure, delete all of the Print Drivers listed.
Restart and try to download another/updated driver for your printer from the manufacturer's web site.

Run a cnet cnp430 on windows 7

I hope you are connecting the print server to a network hub or switch and not trying to connect directly to your Win 7 machine.
There are no drivers, a print server is a network device. Connect the ethernet cable from print server to your router. connect your printer to the switch. Search the network for the printer.

Installing Print Shop 21 in Windows 7

Print Shop version 21 Deluxe is not compatible with Windows 7. You have to use a newer version 23 which is compatible. This is due to software compatibility with Windows 7.

You can check forcompatibilites issues @ Windows 7 "software & hardware" compatibility center

Is it compatible with windows 7?

The latest firmware for this print server only support Windows Vista and below , sorry to say that as of now it will not work with Windows 7. If Dlink releases a new firmware to make this unit with Windows 7 just need to update the firmware and you can use it for Windows 7 computers.

Print Shop 21 will not work on Windows 7 operating system is there a fix?

When a ‘clean’ install is done of Print Shop 22, exactly as described in this FAQ

'Clean' Install on Win98/Me/XP/2000/Vista/Win7

Print Shop 22 should install on a 64-bit version of Windows 7, with two incidents.

1. If .NET Framework 1.1 is not already installed on the computer, the "Program Compatibility Assistant” in Windows 7 will display this message
this program has know compatibility issues

To continue with the installation, select "Run Program". After .NET Framework 1.1 is installed, the necessary updates will be pulled from the Microsoft Windows Update Service.

2. After .NET Framework 1.1 is installed, the "Program Compatibility Assistant” in Windows 7 will display a message which says that there are compatibility issues with Print Shop 22 on Windows 7 64-bit. To continue with the installation of .NET Framework 1.1, select "Run Program".

NOTE: Even though the Print Shop 22 Vista patch, which can be found here

Download Vista Patch For The Print Shop 22 and PrintMaster 17 Disk Versions

can be installed on a 64-bit version of Windows 7, the patch will not fix the problem with the Amyuni Document Converter, as it does on a 32-bit version of Windows 7 (see above). So, it will not be possible to use the 'Save As PDF' option with Print Shop 22 on a 64-bit version of Windows 7. Instead, it will be necessary to install an alternate PDF driver, then Print to PDF, as is described in this FAQ

Save as PDF vs File | Print to PDF

So far, the only other known incompatibility with Print Shop 22 on a 64-bit version of Windows 7 is that Print Shop 22 cannot be run from a shortcut on the Dell Dock that is provided with many Dell computers. A Print Shop 22 shortcut can be placed on the Dell Dock; but, attempts to start Print Shop 22 from that Dell Dock shortcut will cause several incompatibility messages to be displayed

What is DPOF, and how do I use it?

DPOF stands for Digital Print Order Format. The DiMAGE 7 supports DPOF Ver. 1.1 so that you can specify the images and the number of copies to be printed and the print type. This technology enables you to take your Compact Flash Card to a Photofinishing Print Service, or personal printer, which supports DPOF, and print the selected images at the number specified automatically. DPOF also enables you to print an index print of all your images. Please see the DiMAGE 7 instruction manual for details about setting the DPOF.
