Re: Canon mx860 - had an error code C000 and now a day...
Error code C000. Cancel printing, and turn off the machine. Then clear the paper jam or

Re: Canon mx860 - had an error code C000 and now a day...
This error usually refers to something that is blocking the internal mechanism of moving freely. Try this fix. There are a few reasons this can happen and usually you will find something inside the printer.

I moved you to CANON
all printers do that, they love to jam that is there (THING) there bailiwick.
paper dust and chunks land in places not allowed to be there
but guide jams or optical sensors blocked even with paper dust.
If you ask a printer tech this, (mobile) what do the do most the time
they do cleaning endless.
I use shop air here and blow them all out clean as new.
also cleaning up ink smears. using IPA
or use CON_O_AIR , and blow it out.
wash wear clog and repeat. endless printer woe's.
how long did the printer run days, year? before now.????
history matters. (new out of the box?) and this good example.
When there is an error code 6000 or C000 on a Canon printer, do not rush to go through the reset or any magic "press button" things. Even if you clear the message, the problem won't go away and the message will reappear. The message 6000 and C000 refer to an obstruction in the printer. Usually something on the way of the carriage unit. It can be a dirty timing strip which needs a cleaning, but most of the times it will just be a pieced of a ripped paper or any other object inside the printer. The tricky part is that it will usually be at one or the other end of the printer. Take yuur flashlight or flashlight app on your phone and shine some light inside your printer. I almost guarantee you that you will find something!
This will apply to all Canon pixma Inkjet printers!
Some are MX922, MX925, MX927, MX928, MG5320, MG5220, MX452, MX870, MX712, MX722, MX892, MX882, MX860, MP620, MP620B, MP630, MP640, MP600, MP800, MP610, MP810, MX950, MG5420, IP7220, IP3000, IP4000, IP4200, IP4300, MX830, MP830, MX452, MX472, MX432, MX452, IP2920, MG5220, MG5120, and many other models.
Error C000 has also been known to be caused by poorly seated or unseated ink tanks. Another method that can be used to try and fix Error C000 is to open the printer door and make sure that all of the printer's ink tanks are properly seated.

Usually means an undetermined error. Check inside for foreign objects, scraps of paper crammed into the inside ends, a faulty cartridge (flashing diode), grease on the plastic strip that runs through the back of the printhead, something in the paper feed path.
