Needle goes down but don't pick up the bobbin thread. It come up and tell me that my upper or lower thread is cut.

try changing the needle
try rethreading the machine top and bobbin
make sure to use every thread guide-this is improtant for the
thread tension
make sure the bobbin is turned correctly in the bobbin case
also could be a problem with the computer motherboard
or there could be a problem with the timing

PE-3000S Pacesetter won't pick up bottom thread

try changing the needle
also rethread the machine
clean under the needle plate & in the bobbin area for loose threads or lint
if these suggestions don't help the it's possible that the machine has jumped time & needs to be serviced

Brother pe 150 needle wont pick up thread from bobbin changed needle

Check that the needle is in the right way, flat shank to the back. If it is around backwards, the shuttle hook won't be catching the thread at the back of the needle to form the stitch.

The bobbin thread is not catching. I have rethreaded the entire machine multiple times, tried different bobbins, etc. However, the needle and thread are not catching the bobbin thread. The bobbin thread is...

try a new needle
make sure the bobbin is not warped
make sure the bobbin case area is free of lint or loose thread
make sure you hold the upper thread tail while it's going down to pick up the bobbin thread
make sure there is a 2 to 4 in tail for the upper thread to grab

Brother pe150 won't pick up bobbin thread

Hi. This may sound silly, but the most likely reason the upper thread doesn't pick up the bobbin thread is that the needle is in backwards. (Sounds silly, but it's true!)

Needle shanks have a flat side and that flat side has to go in a particular way for your machine. With most modern machines, the flat side goes to the rear, facing away from you. Check your manual to be sure.

The second most likely reason is that your needle may be bent. Check that your needle is straight (or just use a new one).

Hope this helps!

My brother PE-400 sewing quit sewing

The "race" on your machine needs adjusting. Remove the bobbin cover, bobbin, & case. What you have left is the race, it moves when you turn the large wheel on the top right of machine. The needle also moves up and down. There is a hook on the race that catches the needle thread. Try moving the race to the line up with the needle. It may take a couple of trys but it should do the trick. Also clean any threads that may be caught on or arround the race. Hope this helps!

I have a brother pe- 150 and the bobbin doesnt catch

See if you may have thread wound up inside the bobbin hole. The hook needs to cross the needle hole when the needle bar starts up. Adjust needle bar to make up for it.
