I couldn't find an illustration of the planer so don't know whether it is a compact bench jointer, a portable thicknesser or a workshop planer/thicknesser where any suitable motor can easily be adapted to fit, often representing large savings over the machine manufacturer's prices. Replacement motors and motor parts for integrated machinery often become obsolete quickly or are available but are priced not to sell and an otherwise good machine has to be replaced. There are many companies around the world offering small motor rewinds, usually at prices far less than a replacement motor, offering the chance to make an otherwise obsolete tool useful again.

HI. I think I have the same problem. I cannot loosen the collet nut on my 5142 router to change the bit. The router is super powerful and great for a router table but since I got it years ago, changing the bits has been difficult. Might try the heat but worry it could effect bearings and grease etc.

Consult owners/ operating manual..online to manufacturer or youtube..maybe just a fuse.

If you have air pressure it should work with nails in it. Take it back.

Is the machine turning on? Is the motor / transformer going but the head not? I can only ASSUME that they are. Pull it apart and you will probably find that a cam, sprocket or pin of some sort is broken. Some machines use a oscillating transformer action. This coil may be open circuit. A multi-meter check will soon tell you. If this is the case then it is probably cheaper to buy a new or second hand one.

Did you check bearings and check power cord for burned or loose connection?

Do you add a drop or 2 of pneumatic oil before connecting to the air line? This is what happened to one of my finish guns. I ended up taking my gun apart to get to the driver and nail guide; adding oil in places to get the driver to function properly again. I removed all nails(IMPORTANT) and would then push the driver back to position,put the guide back together, then fire, remove the nail guide again and expose the stuck driver.... repeat repeat repeat. Adding oil in places that looked catching. Fixed it. Works like a champ now

If it's a knockoff your more then likely out if luck.
However I would go to the Dremel website and look at their parts and see if one might be compatible.
Those are meant to be tossed and not serviced though.
