Es510

Hello KC - You may try and reset the cook top by disconnecting the power to the unit for up to 30 seconds by flipping the circuit breaker off and back on. This often clears most false error codes. If the lock symbol does not clear, then the unit more than likely may be experiencing an issue with the EOC (Electronic Oven Control), user interface board or a potential wiring failure. This is not a typicaly do it yourself job; please consult a professional or your manufacturer.

Lock light is flashing when I push bake it says door

Hello meathead4094 - Often when the LOCK light is flashing, it is because there is door malfunction. Try reprogramming the range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. Typically, this will clear the flashing. If issue persists, the range could possibly have a faulty door latch, light switch or EOC (electronic oven control). I would strongly recommend contacting a professional to get the appropriate diagnosis prior to make any unnecessary part replacements.

The door is locked on the range and can't open

Try to turn the circuit breaker off to the home for about 10-15 minutes, then retry the unit. If the door does not unlatch then either the door latch assembly or main control board need to be replaced, since they are not communicating correctly. Consult a professional at that point to be safe.
