Why won 't descaling process begin?

everything what you have to do is to turn hot water to start, then after 10-15 seconds stop machine and turn it off. Wait about 10 minutes and rinse rest of descaling agent. Then fill the watertank with fresh water and rinse again trought hot water. When the water finish your machine is descaled. Then press hot water/steam button for 5-6 seconds and light go of. That is all.

Brew group popped out and cannot put in back in

Make sure that you place the brew group the same way that you usually do after you take it out ie. make sure that the coffee grind collector is sitting vertically, and is depressed down. You may need to jiggle and move the pieces around for this to happen. Then make sure that you depress the tab in the center fully to the right until it clicks before trying to place it back in. Lastly, make sure that you clean any coffee grinds that may be sitting on the surface and which may prevent you from placing the brew group fully into the machine. Hope this helps, good luck!

What does it mean when

Hi, Turn off the machine and turn back on again. If both lights are permanently on that means you need to empty the dreg tray. Pull out the tray and wait until the red light start flashing, then put back the tray, the red light will go off.
Another meaning is when you press the coffee button and see the red light came on, that means the grinder motor is not working. Hope it will help.

Saeco Odea Giro - disassembly

Hope this can help:

I managed to take mine apart because I was having a lot of leaking steam from the steam wand (as posted earlier). I followed your instructions, and all worked very well. Just to prepare readers, this is what I found. The green seal on the steam end was torn, as previously described. I noticed it start to "drag" a bit during use (daily for the past year), and it must have stuck and torn over time. See photos. I replaced with a part from ACE, see photo. Be sure to lube before re-assembly. Hope the photos help!

Saeco Odea Giro alarm light on all the time and temp light off

Hi,

Make sure everything is fitted in place, there are several sensors that can bring the lamp to light. I have not heard that the water sensor is gone on Odea machine.

Can the machine run the selftest and can you see any water come out?

Red alarm light permanently on!

Hi.
First turnthe machine on.
Then take out everything watertank, dreg draw and brewingunit and have the door opened to the brewing area.

have them out for about 1 minute and then put it back together again.
if this dosent help please check if the machine respond to removing the dregdraw, beanlid.

It will do it by making the constant red ligth flash instead.

if they respond make sure that the watertank is filled to max.
if that is the case it is the watertank sensor that is broken.
