Error message e41

Hello Friend, thank you for your inquiry! If you are receiving an error code E41 on your Frigidaire front load washer, your loading door may be ajar. Double-check to ensure that it is closed. If it is secure, reset the power to your appliance for about 30 seconds. You can do this by unplugging your washer or flipping your circuit breaker into the off position. If the error persists, it could either be the door switch assembly or your washer's main control board. In that case, a certified technician would generally replace the faulty part after proper diagnosis. Hope this helps! - Z

Have a gltf2070dso and the green display lights

Good Afternoon Donna, I am happy to assist you. An error code F05 could be as simple problem as a stuck keypad or something more complicated as a faulty wiring at the main control board. You can check to see if any of the buttons on in the stuck position and then reset the washer. This can be done either flipping the household circuit breaker off or by unplugging it. It is necessary to wait relatively ten minutes and then turn the unit on. If the issue persists, you may way to reach out to an appliance expert who is best equipped to pinpoint the exact problem, which can often save you funds and a headache.

Hi Bunny:F06 code will indicate a drive motor tachometer error; means the control is unable to properly detect motor speed and the machine will shut down.If a failure occurs during high-speed spin the door will be unlocked after 3 minutes. Potential Causes:* Check wire harness connections between the Drive Motor/Tachometer and the Motor Control Unit (MCU), and between the MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU)* Check the Drive Motor* Check the MCU* Check the Wire HarnessHope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

I have a frigidaire gallery series front load

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter- so many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters.
Following are my complete and hopefully 'coverall' pre-typed guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT (alternatively use a wet vac as sensibly suggested by VinnyB1234!)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

I have a fridgeare gltf2070ds0

Hi

Error code F04 indicates pressure switch jammed. Remove the lower rear panel of washer. Remove the large black hose fastened to bottom of drum. Remove and clean the plastic filter inside hose. Remove the hose onto the pump, and check for blockage or obstruction which is basically stopping the machine to spin. This should solve your problem.

Also check the bellow link for further details:-

Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.

GLTF2070DS Gallery Serice Front Load

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

Based on your description my first suspicion would be a worn tub bearing.

The other possibilities could have been the suspension shock absorbers or springs but you ruled that out.

If they are intact, good...but bad.

The tub bearing is as I alluded to likely worn, or the inner tub has broken apart.

You can check this by way of opening the door and grabbing the inner basket rim and moving up and down to feel for play...there should be zero play or zero tolerance in this bearing.

You can also remove the rear panel and visually inspect it as well. First, look for signs of leakage around the center bearing.

Second, grab the large pulley and try and move it back and forth or spin it with the belt off to listen for a grinding noise.

If it is indeed worn it will require practically the complete tub assembly ( rear wall with bearing and inner basket )...that is the least expensive and easiest fix at around $400 for the entire assembly.

example...

6309280.jpg
You can opt to change just the rear wall and bearing with the basket in separate pieces, but it comes in around $370 and still leaves you with pulling the old one apart to re-use the front shell.

Either way this is a fairly involved repair and even for an experienced tech like myself can take 60 - 90mins. I'd guess it would take one who's never done it all day.

Let me know what you find and I'll do what I can to assist you.

Good luck. Thank you for choosing FixYa.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

Our frigidaire front-load washer has

That is a Faulty electronic control board or motor speed control board.

If it stops before rinse, then it is probably motor control unit board.

I quote from the service manual:

Touch the STOP/CANCEL pad to clear the F 04. Select and start the washer in the Heavy Duty
wash cycle with the Heavy Soil/Stain option deactivated. If the tub does not start turning while
filling or within 30 seconds after the fill is completed, troubleshoot for a motor will not run problem.
If the motor is running and the tub is filled, let the washer run for at least 6 minutes. Measure the
voltage between pin one of the 8 pin connector (J11) and pin 7 of the 7 pin connector (J6). The
voltage should be below 50 VAC when the timer advance is off and line voltage when the timer
advance is on. If the meter reading switches between these two readings, the electronic control
board is defective. If the meter reading does not switch between these two readings, the motor
speed control is defective. The replacement motor speed control MUST be a Generation 2 style
(134149200, 134306000 or a later sub). If the Generation 1 style (131887601 or 131887601GE)
motor speed control board is installed, certain cycles and spin speed may not function correctly.

All repairs must be done by a technician.

Here you find all parts , including replacement motor control unit, and you also find schematics: GLTF2070DS0.

Please, leave feedback afterward.

Many thanks

Check your drain pump for a restriction.
Also, with a meter check for power to the drain pump.
