Washing machine works OK, but it collects smelly water trapped behind the gasket seal of the front door. Any way to fkush out th water. We tried a spin with the machine empty.
Frigidaire has several mfr defects with their new front loading machines. The detergent/bleach drawer retains water, the door often leaks, water does accumulate in the door seal and the spin has broken twice on us and the machin is only 15 months old! Repair is contracted out by Lowes to independant repair companies, who demand payment, even when Lowes says it is covered under warrantee. What a waste of a large amount of money! We will NEVER purchase Frigidaire or recommend their products to anyone.

E70 error code repeatedly comes up when attempting to start a load and you have to cancel and restart 4-6 times before the load washes; again at the end of a load it will come up with the E70 error and to complete the load you have to set it on drain and spin only setting. I even downloaded the tech manuals and an E70 is not even listed! HELP!!!
Means you are not getting cold water into unit..Either cold water hose is connected to the wrong hose or cold water faucet is not turned on..You can solve this by connecting hose to cold water faucet and cold water inlet on washer..

My washer is displaying the DDO error code. Please help?! I am not sure what this means and my washer in not working at all now. Do you happen to know what the problem might be? Thank you-
Excellent solution. I had a similar problem. The trick is to figure out where to put the magnet. I had a hard time with that.
For those like me who might have difficulty finding the spot for the magnet, it goes on the right hand side of the detergent door. The easiest way to do it is to pull the detergent door all the way out of the machine and look at it such that the back of the door is facing you. The magnet fits vertically in a slot on the left side as you are looking at the door (right side of the doorwhen inserted in the machine) in the white plastic. It sits vertically and is held by a small latch. This is not obvious at all...

I have a GLTF2940ES3 front loader. It is a bit over a year old. Today we went to take the clothes out and they were soaked. We tried running drain/spin, rinse/spin...nothing. It does everything except the high speed spin. Water drains fine..."whirring" noise when it should be spinning....we tried lessening the load too, and nothing. Please help!?!?!? The problem is a faulty Door Latch Assembly. The same thing happened to my Frigidaire front load washer. The part is easy to install, costs about 60 dollars and can be picked up at most appliance repair stores . To access the switch just remove the wire around the front drum gasket, peel back the rubber gasket beside the switch assembly then remove the two screws holding it in place. remove the three wire connector blocks and swap in the new switch. My washer was giving me error code 41 witch is a faulty control board. But the problem was in fact only the switch...

Hello,
My machine stopped on a washing cycle with code E23 and two beeps. It makes a humming noise when i try to start the cycle. There's water in the compartment not being drained. What's the solution?
Thanks,
Nazmul
Hello welcome to Fixya
E23 means
The drain pump relay on the control board has failed.
Fix: Replace control board or wire!
you can see schematics and diagrams at the site below, and order parts from them if you want.

what does EFO code mean on our washing machine?
Frigidaire, Zanussi, AEG, & More....
EFO = Filter Blocked (low flow) and it is accessible from the bottom front of the machine.
1. there is a blockage in the filter or drain hose.takes too long to drain out.
2. over dosing of powder or liquid. again can cause an air lock in the pump which slows the drain pump down.
Check the filter and drain hose and test again. this fault will only come up at the end of a cycle.
You do not need to reset the machine to get rid of the fault code as this is automatically deleted.
Run an empty load with no detergent in an attempt to get rid of the code.

Beeping is pretty vague, but here it goes. Read the very broad answer. Your answer will be in it. I hope this helps.

Loc error code on Frigidaire frontloader
To avoid having someone accidentally start or stop the washer, press OPTIONS and Select at the same time and hold for about 10 seconds until the Control Lock) lights up. "LOC" will be displayed alternately with the estimated cycle time. Turning the Cycle Selector knob or pressing any button will produce flashing indicator lights and/or beeping. To unlock the controls, press and hold OPTIONS and Select for about 10 seconds. Frigidaire GLTF2940ES3 Quick Start Manual Page 3
