In need to open the lightning mcqueen 13 inch tv to plug in cord

there are five plastic nuts on each wheel. three of these nuts have screws under them. i took some small pliers apllied slight pressure and wiggled the black plastic nuts off. be careful while doing this because you can break the clips on the nuts. Wont create a problem but if your careful enough the plastic nuts will come off without breaking anything. i just thought i would mention that. After you get the wheels off there will be about 6 more screws to remove 4 black screws and 2 silver screws. Good luck!

Hooking up dvd player

Look for any button either on the unit or the remote marked with common stuff like A/V, Input, Source, Aux or Au, Line, TV-VID. or try dialing in Channel 0, or 00, or 1, or Channel Down surf below Channel 2. Alternately, get into the menu and look for stuff concerning Auxiliary inputs.

If all else fails, you can run a DVD's audio and video line-signals THROUGH a VCR. Hookup the VCR to the TV's RF (threaded) connector using standard coaxial cable. Hookup the DVD a/v output lines to the Line-ins of the VCR. Tune the TV to Ch. 3, tune the VCR to Line-in or Auxiliary and press the play or tv/vid button on the VCR to force the DVD signal through on channel 3 onto the TV.

Disney 13' Princess tv

You've tried all the codes for your TV, but you still cannot get the remote control to operate your TV.
  1. Turn on your TV.
  2. On the remote control, press TV once.
  3. Then press and hold SETUP until the TV key blinks twice, then release the SETUP key.
  4. Using the number pad, enter 9-9-1. The TV key will blink twice.
  5. Aim the remote control at the TV and slowly alternate between pressing Power and TV. Stop when the TV turns off after pressing the POWER key. This means that a working code has been found.
  6. Press the SETUP key once to lock in the code. The TV key will blink twice.
Hope this helps

Digital TV Stations

The term digital in this case is the mechanism used to tune in stations. Rather than making adjustments using a front dial to fine tune the stations, there are digital circuits that will lock in the station. The "digital" stations you are referring to now are the over-air digital broadcasts what use a different method for transfering the signals over the air. These stations now broadcast a digital stream of information rather than an analogue TV signal. If you are using an antenna for receiving these over-air broadcasts, you will require a converter.

I can not get the tv to switch over to the dvd

On the tv remote there is a button that says input. Hit this button and a list of different items comes up. Continue to hit the input button until you get to the one on the list that says AV. Once you have it set to AV, your dvd should play.
