Well, it may be you need a new TV, or, wherever you got the TV contact them and ask them if it has happened before, and if it has, what did they do to fix it. If it hasn't.. if theres a RESET button on it, try that. RESET buttons on TV's aren't that common. Try unplugging it and plugging it back in. There may be a short in the wire.

Yes the wheels do come out of the cabinet, you should be able to pop out the wheels by pushing them to one side and gently prying. Those should be the last screws holding the cabinet together. Let me know if you are unable to get the wheels out.

the built in dvd's aren't the best and it's hit and miss to when it reads the discs.
try different discs and failing that get a seperate dvd player.

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but the problem you've described can't be fixed with troubleshooting. Your TV needs repair. The problem is there are no longer parts available to repair Disney TVs. The company that manufactured that model is no longer in business. No other company has come along to pick up where they left off, so unfortunately there is no way to repair a defective Disney TV.

Go to menu and reset all then do dat if it doesnt work then just bang it

if you have the tv with 2 big wheels (not the on one with 4 wheels) and the built in dvd, just above the dvdtray there is a tv/dvdbutton. press that and you can switch from tv ,video 1 video 2 or dvd. my son lost his remote and it took me a while to figure out that the button was there but it works.as far as auniversal remote...i have no idea.

The box you're seeing is the "closed caption' box. You need to use the remote and disable CC mode on it, and the box will go away :)
