• Since the cold air coming into the fresh food section originates in the freezer above, the rear of the top shelf will be the coldest spot in the fresh food area. Avoid placing delicate items that freeze easily on the back half of this shelf.
• If food is freezing in the produce (fruits and vegetables) or meat pan, it may be that the temperature controls are not set high enough. Since cold air naturally falls, the pans can get too cold if the refrigerator is not running long enough to maintain good air circulation. Adjust both controls up one notch.

There also could be another problem related to the mother board that can also keep the light on while door is close but not likely. To remove the ice tray from your GE refrigerator model GFSF6KEX, follow these steps: Empty the Ice: Before removing the ice tray, empty it of any ice cubes. This will make it easier to handle. Locate the Ice Tray: The ice tray is typically located in the freezer compartment, usually near the ice dispenser or ice maker. Grasp the Bottom Edge: Stand in front of the freezer and open the door. Grasp the bottom edge of the ice tray on the sides. Be cautious not to place your fingers near the opening at the bottom front part of the bucket where the crusher blades are located. Lift Up the Front: Lift up on the front of the ice tray so that it clears the stops on the ice bucket rail. Pull the Tray Forward: Pull the ice tray forward and out of the freezer compartment. To fix this: Remove the ice tray. Close the freezer door. Press the dispenser for cubed or crushed ice; you should hear a snap. Open the door again and reinstall the ice tray. Remember to handle the ice tray carefully, especially if it's full of ice.

your not going o see a light use a dollar bill or paper to test close door on paper should be unable to remove the paper go around the door testing --door my be in need of adjustments or hinge worn down

It's possible that the fan blades are hitting ice, frost, or debris, causing the noise. The fan might also be struggling to turn if there's any obstruction or if it's damaged

If you are referring to the ice maker or cold water dispenser, than check the fill solenoid.

Jason, Have looked over the net for parts but can't find any. Did find this replacement head.... https://www.ebay.com/itm/266329193858 Looking at the 3d and 4th picture, it appears that the valve is attached by the 4 screws. It's possible some sand or debris may be on the seal keeping it from closing fully. If you turn the water off and drain down the whole house by opening the lowest faucet and openimg a high faucet. Possibly you could then remove the valves 4 screws and clean it. If you have shut offs on both sides of the filter you can just shut those. There's just no blow up diagram of internal parts so it maybe a ball valve that has a nick in it and taking it apart won't help. Sorry I can't be of more help...but that's what I'd do if it was mine.
