The driver might be corrupted. Suggest that you remove the driver and re-install it (Start, Printers & Devices, right-click your scanner and select Remove Device).

The most common cause is from a particle of ink or dust that is attached to the lamp or the glass covering the lamp. As the page runs over the lamp, it registers that spot as black and causes a line to run the length of the page.

To fix this, simply remove the particle from the glass or lamp. The location of the particle will correspond to the location of the line on the page. So note which side of the page this occurs.

Pay attention to that black particle.

Please follow the information provided below:

If all the pages are being fed through ADF and if image format is TIFF, then you may require another application to view the multi page TIFF image. If you're using ScandAll 21 or ScandAll Pro application for scanning, you have to choose multi page scan option in Batch Scan Setting. Please follow the help contents provided in the scanning application.

The printer my have corrupt the setup of your scanner. So try and uninstall the setup properly and install it again.
How to unistall go to your control panel-Double click on Add or remove programs-then click on the scanner's setup then click on remove or change.

The scanner can scan in either simplex or duplex mode only. If blank page is scanned, then it will appear BLANK, else someone would say, my scanner is not scanning properly! Remove balnk pages using software or sort on file size and delete the small sized files. Take care to ensure they are really blank.

First chek if the USB ports are working by inserting a known working device, like a pendrive. If it is working then change the USB cable. Buy a good quality cable designed for USB 2.0. This is shielded cable and this should solve your problem. Pls ensure that scanner is powered.
