How to fix FUJITSU fi 5900C e18 error code

you need the detail code to e18 to determine the exact error. First generate the error code again , then hold down the document thickness keys together. The display should change to a two digit numeric . You need this code.

I think you mean E1A which is the code of Death for a Fujitsu 5900CIt normally means get your big fat wallet out and buy a big fat large PCB for £1000's of pounds . But there is a Cheaper fix by miles .

Hello, The "E18 Sensor Alarm" is displayed when malfunction of sensors occurs. Check whether the cables between Control PCA and sensors are damaged and also check all the connectors are connected properly. For detail code 1b, check Ultrasonic (US sensor) For detail code 11, check Pick Sensor For detail code 12, check Imprinter Top Sensor For detail code 13, check Read Top Sensor For detail code 14, check Exit Sensor For detail code 15, check Reject Sensor For detail code 17, check Skew Sensor If the issue persists after checking the above, then you may have to replace the sensors and PCAs. Error Code : 0x5a

Hello, The detail code 5a in Fujitsu fi-5900 scanner is displayed due to frequent paper jam error. To resolve this issue, you need to clean the two lenses of JAM1 sensor and check it's performance. Also, to resolve paper jam error, you need to check the condition of pick,separator,brake rollers, feed and pinch rollers. Replace the rollers if required. Hope the above information is helpful. I need a solution to u1 error with detail code o5A in fujitsu fi-5900c scanner

Hello Marcus, In Fujitsu fi-5900c scanner, Error 05a refers to JAM1 Sensor malfunction.You need to clean the two lenses of the JAM1 sensor with a cotton swab. Then check the performance of the sensor and also check sensor cable connections. This error also occurs if Pinch Roller 2 is installed left-right reversal. Check the same too. If the issue still persists, then you may have to replace the sensor. If the above steps do not help, then you are recommended to contact the nearest Fujitsu service center for assistance.
