Can you put videos on it

No, the Sansa C240 does not support video files. It will handle MP3, WMA, WAV, and protected WMA DRM audio files. It can also handle still images in JPEG, TIFF, PNG, BMP, and GIF files. I wish that I had better news for you. Some of the newer MP3 players from SanDisk do support video files. Cindy Wells

How do you put songs

If you plug the player into a USB port, it should appear in My Computer.
Open it and drag and drop the songs into it.
If you have a microSD card fitted that will show up as well.
Think of it as just another thumb drive.

You can also put songs on a microSD card using a card reader, and plug it into your player.

There are software utilities that will automatically update your player's contents, but i have never looked at them, having found the above two methods sufficient.

My device isnt displaying all of the media clips

The Sansa player can hook up to a computer in two different modes. Through normal use it can switch modes on it's own, although rare it can happen. Now stuff added in one mode can not be seen in the other mode and you can not delete the files. So you have MSC mode which means Mass storage class and is the best mode to use. Then MTP mode means Media transfer protocol, you have to use this mode if you use Napster and such to download MP3's with protected content (DRM) you have to set the player to one mode or the other, to see the files and delete the files you want to delete or to find the missing files. MSC makes your player look like a thumb drive, and is easy to use. Another reason you cant see video clips would be due to the extension name of the file. or the type of file it is. The Sansa players can see AVI, MPEG-4 (mp4) video types. If you have a fla video loaded on the player can not see it.,
