One of two things I can suggest:
1. make sure you are not scanning in JPEG or TIFF format as these are typically single page documents only. PDF is your best option for scanning.
2. Check settings, as some scanning software has an option that you can turn on or off depending on whether you want a single file with all pages or multiple files each containing a page.
You may want to "fan" the stack of papers (hold them firmly on one side of the papers and use the other hand to "fan" the other side) before putting in the tray. A lot of time the humidity causes the sheets of paper to stick together which causes the printer to take more than one sheets of paper. Also, make sure that you have plenty of papers in the tray.
For error e 1 4 = better take it out and wipe the smudgesfor error e 0 5 = check the ink catridge, when ciss installed most installer make mistake by making the red ink hole at the circle made on it. you must make the hole slightly under it, the small hole. the big round is under the thick plastic lid, so the pipe we put will make the catridge move from the original position. or your cartridge just spoilt.
Pls check below and re-list your exact error code and can help you.
