Ink spots and blurring on envelopes - no problems

For envelopes and other special paper types, you have to tell the printer what kind of paper you are using so that it can adjust its print settings. In the printer properties, set the paper type to envelope or thick paper and try printing again.

Is it possible to increase the standard memory for

Unfortunately, the 8MB of RAM that the 1280 comes with is all that it is capable of handling. If the printer runs slow or takes a long time to print, make sure that you have plenty of free hard drive space on your computer, and play with the print spooling options to try to optimize the computer/printer communication.

I have a hp1280 deskjet printer it is print so

At its fastest, the Deskjet 1280 only prints at 14 pages per minute, and this number decreases if you print in color, use a higher resolution, or use larger than 8.5" x 11" paper.

To increase print speed, try dropping the print resolution from 600x600 (Best) to 300x600 (Fast), and if you are printing something that doesn't have any color, make sure you select black and white in the print properties, rather than color.

Where can I find drivers

Hello.
HP didn't release any Windows 7 drivers for the 1280 because it isn't needed since Windows 7 can obtain automatically the best driver for your printer. So, here is what you must do:
1. On the taskbar, click the Windows icon.
2. In the Search Programs and Files box , type change device installation .
3. Click Change device installation settings . The Device Installation Settingswindow opens.
4. If it is not already selected, select Yes, do this automatically (recommended) , and then click Save Changes .
5. Turn the product on.
6. Connect the Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable to the printer, and then to the computer.
7. A "Your devices are ready to use" window might display on the screen. If the window displays and does not close automatically, click Close, to close the window.

Afetr a paper jam my printer has stopped working.

Hello there This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Also clean The purge unit, called a spittoon assembly in an HP, Lexmark, Caonon and other inkjet printers, is where the print head assembly parks when not in use, also its other job is to clean and make sure the print head is clean and open for printing.

That is where you'll find the print head assembly parked on top of it.
It also has an electrical pump to milk the print heads and test for ink flow.

So clean all under where the heads are parked and on IP6600D models you can take out the heads just by clipping them out, and then clean well.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.
