49 server error

49.xx.xy error- General firmware error ( like a blue screen in windows) a corrupt print file is usually the cause and can be cleared by disconnecting the printer from the network, then cycle the power , allow the machine to come to ready and ask the pritner for a configuration page( just a test to see if the printer is able to respond- if not then replace formatter/firmware chip) when this has finished printing goto the workstation that sent the last files to the printer and clear ALL print queues form the PC then and only after clearing the print queues can you re-connect the network - failing to clear the print queue will cause the printer to re-try printing the corrupt document which will result in 49.xx.xy error being displayed again.

HP 5200 printer . Coming out only blank paper. Toner is good What is the problem ?

The shutter that covers the laser may not be opening. I have had the arm that opens the shutter break. The printer does not have a way to detect this error so it thinks everything is fine because all the laser operation sensors are inside the laser assembly itself.

49.00ff error in hp laserjet 5200

Does the same thing happen if the printer is disconnected from the network (I'm assuming that you are using an Ethernet connection) before you power-off then power-on again? If it does, then there is a problem with the printer itself. If not, then it may perhaps be invoked by some system sending a 'rogue' job (not necessarily a conventional print job) to the device. Look at HP support site for the latest firmware update to your model. Regards, Mike

Good day i'm having a freezing problem with my printer if i send 10-100 prints it processes then prints half the job and then freezes with processing written on the screen please help!

Dear Sinclair The freezing occurs due to two things. 1- when you command print file size is more than the buffer RAM of the printer. ( it will solved choosing page no. selection to print). If there is option to increase the RAM of printer, may be up graded. 2- Fixing temp. when exceeds predetermined temp. it takes a short time may be neglected. Thanks.

I have change toner but same massage given

Then you still might have a bad toner cartridge. Try the following in the EXACT order: 1 Pull out the toner cartridge. 2 close the printer back up and let it recognize that there is not toner cartridge. 3 turn the printer oss 4 insert the new toner cartridge 5 turn the printer back on. if the above fails you will need a new cartridge, preferably a different brand.

How to output bin empty ?

  1. The output bin may be full. Empty the output bin. Printing resumes automatically.
  2. Take a close look at the flaps hanging out the exit of the printer. They should move up and down freely. If one of them is stuck up, broken or dislodged, then a bin full error is displayed.
  3. Open rear exit tray and power on the printer. If the printer comes to a Ready state, close rear tray and try printing.
  4. Clean the paper path below the toner area and exit assembly at the back of the printer. Ensure there is no pieces of paper stuck in the paper path of the printer.

What could be the problem of hp 5200 not displaying on the control panel?

If the printer works fine otherwise, then likley the control itself has failed or the wiring has become disconnected. If you have not disassembled the printer recently then loose wires are unlikely.

No display on the control panel

If you meant by the view on the Device and Printers, you can try to delete old printers installed before. The new printers installed might use the same configuration as the old ones.

Message 41.3

This error is triggered if the paper in the tray does not match what the tray is set for. If this is tray 2 (the pull out drawer) make sure that all the stops are set correctly. Also ensure that your printer driver is not set for European (A4) sized paper, unless you are in Europe, in which case make sure it is not set for letter.

Printer shows standard top bin full

Where the paper exits, there should be black tabs that lift up each time a page exits. They might be stuck in the up position, or possibly broken. Usually caused by aggressive removal of a paper jam.
