Boot failure- system halted was my problem , kindly help me

Yours is purely an operating system and /or hard disk problem ok. If you have the Recovery cd, try running it if not you will have to reformat your hard disk and re-install the operting system. It's a painful thing to lose some very important files. I suppose too that you must have a backup of your vital files. So go on with the reformation and your will come back alive ok. Good luck

Assuming that you have access to 10,000 PCs and stating any other reasonable assumption you need to make calculate how long it will take on average to derive an AES key using a key space search(sometimes referred to as a brute force attack)

What is multivendorb networking enviroment?

Hi,
Any Network where different types of systems from different companies and having different technology are connected and must communicate with each other successfully is known as a Multi Vendor Network Environment. The important thing here is that the Protocol layers such as TCP/IP and SS7 allow for such a communication and are thus important for this reason.
Simplest example is the internet. Thousands of Windows and Linuxs and Macintoshes and UNIXs connected together to create the internet and ll communicating efficiently all thanks to the TCP/IP set of protocols...

Hope you find it useful. Your feedback is appreciated.

The plastic case that makes up the outer shell of

You can replace the shell if you are comfortable with unscrewing all of the screws from the old one. I would draw the screw layout on a piece of paper first and for each one you unscrew, place it on the paper in the position it came from. That will help you when you put them all back.

If you need a replacement shell and do not have a local source, I would suggest PC Recyclers of Idaho [http://www.pcidaho.com/]. I've purchased parts from them and they've always given me great prices.

What causes the dell to brighten when adapter is removed and dim

Well what it sounds like to me is that you have your power settings set to do that. So what you need to do is go into control panel and go to power options and then configure what you want the laptop to do when plugged in and unplugged. Typically you would want to have the screen dim and go into power save mode when your running on your battery not plugged in. Let me know if this helps you out.

Multivendor networking

In general, it creates a tech support nightmare. Mostly you will run into hardware incompatibilities, differing protocols...and worst of all, you will have to hire people who are familiar with each type of hardware -- some are familiar with Cisco, for example, but not other types of hardware, etc. Or at least someone who can support most of it and obtain further support from the vendor. You will also have to deal with several different types of SLA's and make sure each vendor will provide the necessary support in that environment -- if you have a switch from 3COM that is not working with a Cisco router, for example, you have to do the extra work of figuring out which tech support to call, 3COM or Cisco?

Multivendor networking is typically an unavoidable headache unless you have a very small network, but one can limit the number of vendors to those that already provide good service, unless you are overhauling the network (yikes) and searching for new vendors. My advice is to ask for an awesome salary and buy a few big bottles of Excedrin :-)

simple , but you would have to buy an EIDE drive and not SATA that is in today's market.

You don't have to wipe the other, you can use it for backup or to save you files on.

To install it, just follow the manual, it is not difficult.
