You must have more than one alarm setting and the second alarm is set for midnight. Turn the second one off.

I took the back up battery out and unplugged the unit for about 20 minutes before powering the clock back up. Once I powered the clock up I re-inserted the backup battery.

Sorry, but the DST changes in your clock radio are calendar-based. If they were set for the old changeover dates there's no way to switch them. You'll need to adjust the time manually, and you'll have to do it four times a year - unless your clock has the option of turning off the automatic changes.

Sounds like the unit may need to be replaced unless it is still under warranty.

Take the new clock back to the store as the battery inside is dead.. They will replace the unit for another one thus making you a happy person otherwise the battery inside needs to be change ot the element on this clock needs to be changed out ether or there is parts and repair that needs to be done if its new take it back if its old process a warranty.

I just experienced the same problem this week.  Don't waste the money on the battery as it did not help...still no lights.  I'm very disappointed as I'm, also, out of warranty and I really liked this clock.

Check the year setting(if it has one) an set to correct year.

This Clock/Radio/CD player has had component failure problems. The unit is probably not worth repairing. The reason is the parts and repair information is probably very limited. The cost of the repair with parts and labor will be expensive. This repair would probably cost you more than just buying a new Clock/Radio/CD player. Sorry it took so long to reply to your question. This look like a problem with the Clock/Radio's Microprocessor. You will need to reset the microprocessor by removing all power sources to the microprocessor. This means removing the Clock/Radio from the A/C power source and removing the internal battery (CR2430). After removing all the power sources from the Clock/Radio, let the Clock/Radio set for a period of about 3 hours. This will let the power completely drain from the microprocessor and reset it to the factory settings. You can then reinsert the internal battery and plug the Clock/Radio into the A/C power source. The Clock/Radio should have reset and the functions returned to normal operations. If The Clock/Radio functions have not returned to normal. You will need to let the Clock/Radio's microprocessor drain off the power again and put a new internal battery (CR2430). Then test the Clock/Radio's functions again. The Clock/Radio functions should have returned to normal operation. If you are still having problems getting the Clock/Radio to return to normal operation.
