My M-Audio Solaris mic fell

Unfortunately, most condenser microphones (like the Solaris) are fairly fragile. The fluctuations and noise you're hearing is most likely from damage to the sensitive capsule inside the mesh screen. If that is the case you will want to get a return authorization number from M-Audio and send it back to them. You can find all the info and forms here:

There is a slim chance your issue could just be a loose wire or resistor inside the casing, but very unlikely. It's not really a mic that is considered "user serviceable," but if it's definitely out of warranty you could try a local electronics shop.
I know it's probably not the answer you want to hear but it sounds like you need the capsule replaced from the factory. With any condenser mic always remember to use a shockmount, sturdy mic stand, and keep loose mic cables out of the way.
Good Luck, Dan

I have found the problem on my M-Audio BX5a monitor is also a 25V 6800uf power filter capacitor problem, only mine popped like a party popper---the other one is okay. The question I have is that it i

If you are sure of what you are doing then replace the capacitor and any other capacitors with a blown/distorted top. These capacitors are polarised capacitors and must be inserted/soldered correctly in place. The stripe on the capacitor is the negative lead.

Hey.. I just bought a Bx8 studiophille.. Unfortunately I got cheated.. One of the speakers tweeter is not working.. Can you give me a solution.. Where can I get it replace??

How sure are you that't you tweeter and not a contact cable or, sunce they use cheap xhinese capacitors on the m-audio, just a capacitor has dead. Don't buy a tweeter, since they very often die and check the inputs , especially TRS amd rca and unscrew the the backplate and you'll notice that the cables and connectors used are cheapio. So it worth to check the pcb,s if you see broken caps. Which wouldn't surprise me , since their cheap once. And before buy another tweeter, first try it out on another small amplifier, to see if it works. Buying a new ine is the last fase, they ask high prices for a 10 dollar unit. Where did you buy it and how old is the unit? Greetings richard

Bass Guitar Won't Register

The mics I have seen don't have a filter... but a lot of mixers do have a 100Hz mic input filter. Check the other equipment that you are using also.

My fast track pro keeps

Do you have a "circuit protection" light or sign?
If not, you most likely have a faulty power supply like so many others with newer electronics now days. It should be tested with voltmeter to see if power supply is putting out a constant voltage reading. If it isn't, it may have bad capacitors in the unit. Bad caps will cause tv not to power or stay on.
