Just program 0.0 (zero point zero) into a channel to clear the existing frequency. Also, programming a new frequency into a channel will overwrite/delete the previously programmed freq.

Turn the scanner off, then hold down the 2 , 9 and HWY (State) button....all three at the same time and then turn the scanner back on. This does a full reset to factory settings. with radio off, press and hold 2, 9, & hold button, then turn on and hold all three for at least two seconds to reset. With the scanner off, firmly hold down 2+9+State at the same time while turning the scanner on. (You may have do it several times) When you see (Clear) its reset.
