TV remote has a problem.
Hi,
I need model number of your 20 inch Sharp tv to diagnose problem.
Let me know model number as it would be written on label pasted at back of tv.
Remote control can be tested by watching its front through any digital camera because our eye can not see infra red light signal of remote, press keys on remote, if infra red light blinks in remote front that means remote is working and problem could be with tv.

When i start my tv automatically turn-off like we turn-off by remote control.
Just close the infrared sensor window at it front panel with any opeque material, like a diary or so. Then try to switch it ON. If the set behave so, even after blocking the infrared sensor, make sure that there is something fault with the main system control section. Need a through checkup. If it switches ON without any problem now, make sure that there is no energy saving lights; like CFL or so, in front of the TV.
