What does error message E03
Hello Shell,
E03 means the temperature of the fixing assembly was detected to be too low (below 248 degrees F/120 degrees C) for 1 second or more. You cound try to reset it by unplugging the machine for 10 minutes and the power it back.If the code stays gone it was a fluke as the system monitoring this temperature is very sensitive and can make mistakes. If it returns the fixing assembly will need to be replaced. The fixing assemly is responsible for melting and bonding the toner to the paper through heat and pressure. The replacement procedure is not considered a task for an end user. The first time I did it I was impressd on the complexity of the task.Hopefully the code will reset. My guess would be with parts and labor it would cost about $ 300.I hope this helps FIXYA.

My image runner reports paper jam and i have
Is there paper stuck in the fuser? Sometimes you will have to remove the fuser usit and break it apart to clear the jam. Depending on your skill level this is better left to a technician.
When can I find instructions on how to install new
Use the gray handle on the left side and slide the table top to the left. Raise the blue cover on the right. Carefully remove the drum unit. Release the two blue clips on the drum unit and the drum should separate from the developer unit. Be careful of the movement of the drum guard. This will have to be move out of the way and put the two parts back together. Put the two blue clips back into the proper position. This keeps the two secure. Canon did have a modification to keep the two better secured by having the techs put in two screws on the front and rear of the developer unit when the two are finally put back together. Hope this helps.
